So, several years ago I made a couple of chibi-Specter lanyard badges for @spectervision
to sign for fans, and also a series of cute animal lanyards for my vending booth. We found them as we were cleaning out the garage the other day. My kids both declared that they both wanted one of each of them all for themselves. May have to design a few new ones...a Wasteland Specter, maybe? The final image is Specter as Akasha, but needs to be redone as it's awful.

The love of God took my place on the cross...that love has a name
My brother came through town tonight. He’s an Olympic Grade Extrovert.
My favorite part of Oklahoma is the breathtaking sunsets💖🌇 I had SUCH a fabulous day shooting with @timothyjvisuals

During our last staff meeting this year at school, as our staff sat quietly, several of us with tears in our eyes as our beloved principal gave us his final pep talk before the year ended and he transferred to a middle school, I took note of his wise words.
Words that I hope encourage me for years as i continue to seek what it means to be a teacher in schools filled with students and families that face every hardship we can fathom.
I wish I could remember every word he said, but I’ll hold in my memory for years to come his humbleness and his passion for children in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I still believe in public education.
I believe that’s how we get to come out of poverty.
Even though we do stupid things sometimes,
I believe this is what it’s gonna take to get where we need to be.
Some doubt that the cycle of poverty can ever be broken. But with faith, with love that teachers can provide and with HARD WORK, public education CAN break those cycles.
And we, as educators get the honor of playing a small part in that.
I’m so glad I found myself in and on this journey. I’m so glad I get the opportunity to be Ms. Martin. And to do some h*cking good.
also let’s be honest- some days my being a teacher is just getting into kindergarteners for pooping in the urinal. NO JOKE. THATS A REAL THING YOU HAVE TO TEACH THEM.
