It’s Tuesday and it was chest day. As I was warming up on bench, I realized something pretty damned cool. About 1 year ago, my 1 rep max on bench was 115. Today, I did 3 sets of 8-10 at 115. Damn. 1 year and my strength has gone up a lot! This thing that we do, lifting heavy weight takes patience, time and practice. You’re just not going to see increases week to week as you progress. You get better over time. I am in awe when I get to see progress like this. This is one of the reasons why I document. This day last year looked a lot different from today.
