A brief in Black History and of all times. THE hardest Worker in Show Business. I want to dedicate this post to Remind us all, that music impact us in a way. Anytime I listen to #JamesBrown
, It up lifts my soul literally, adding an extra kick every step I take. One of THE BADDEST Mutha****as that ever lived and DID IT. the One and only. we lost The Godfather of soul in Christmas 06. Growing up hearing his music is timeless and always a Party starter. And it gathers so much entities that ALL of us FEELS GOOD dancing through his words and voice along with his infamous beats of his band. I hope we can continue of what he accomplished and lead thru the way he paved for everyone coming from the roughest and toughest background. A RELEVATING, INSPIRING, AND HIGH PRAISING CHARISMATIC BROTHA. Rest In Power in GOD ALMIGHTY kingdom JAMES BROWN. #BlackHistory #Music #payback #legendsneverdies #Godfatherofsoul #TheBest #Goat #thegreatestshowman #RipJamesBrown #Thetruth #inspiration #Sayitloud #imBlack
the best part about working and living in Los Angeles?? Sunday morning Farmer’s Market!! 🍎
blackness is the one part of our identity which we can never escape.
alternatively, we should show pride in being black.
we should promote it, invest in it, wear it like its armour.
because it is only through solidarity that every melanated person in history can finally get the recognition, love and opportunity which we rightfully deserve.
Last night was magical. We’re back at it again tonight at PLAYGROUND Detroit. If you haven’t already, cop your tickets at the link in my bio.
