It has been a very crazy couple of days for me. Wednesday afternoon my landlord agreed to let me off my lease two months early which is huge! But it meant selling the rest of the salon stuff, cleaning the space, painting, sanding, staining, moving, contacting ALL my clients best I can and finding a new hair home and then moving there and being settled enough to start doing my October 1st clients that are already on the books. And I have a little more than two weeks. I have to close accounts and set new ones up, address changes to my business license and I decided to change my logo a bit. Rogue was not my original idea. I got the name and the logo from the previous owners when I bought the salon. I kept it the same because it was so fitting for me and I fell in love with it. I started messing with ideas today. Mostly keep what I fell in love with but wanted to make it my own. I texted friends and family and clients their opinions on some options I came up with. After researching symbolism and many variations of ideas I landed on one( actually the very first one I made, just changed it to black and white.) After settling on THE ONE, I go outside and see this beauty!! I think it's a sign 🦋. Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life.
