To say the past month has been hard would be an understatement. Sure, I was able to get out a few times and enjoy my mountains with some awesome people, but I’ve also had to pack up my house, leave my mountains to move across the country, and (hardest of all) send my husband off for a little Army vacation.
I miss my man and my mountains terribly, but today I’m drinking out of my FULL Colorado cup because I started a brand new job at Hurlburt Field that I’m super excited about! Yes, I’m back in the Florida jungle for a bit and the best part is I’m close to my family! ❤️ Don’t worry - Colorado, I’m coming back for you when the military lets us. Plus I already have lots of trips back planned (like next week! Ha!). In the meantime, the Fords are going to thaw out, catch some fish, and work on our tans. 😎 Plus the doggos are getting EXTRA spoiled by their grandfurparents!
A huge thank you goes to my mom and dad for helping make this move happen. For UB and AC - thank you for convincing me Colorado is where I need to be and allowing me to experience the BEST 4 1/2 years of my life! And to my husband - damn I miss you and love you so much! Thank you for these gorgeous flowers and for all your support at home and abroad. ❤️ Sorry, long post full of lots of emotions. If I seem a little scatterbrained these days, hopefully this helps explain why! 😂
Here’s to the next chapter, new adventures, and lots of fun in the sunshine state! ☀️ #nextchapter #nextadventure #florida #glasshalffull #newjob #family #grateful #gratitude #support #military #coloradowewillbeback
