Found some pictures from our #Norway trip a few years ago. This trip started my love affair with #Scandinavia . This was the view from the back of the boat as we sailed through the #Fjords . #Travel #Travelling #Wanderlust #LiveToTravel #Explore #Adventure #SeeTheWorld #instatravel #instahike #wander #instaphoto #instatravels #NorwegianFjords #fjordsofnorway

Ausangate day four & five: The last two days of the hike were tough too, this whole hike was hard. It consisted of long days, I walked more than 20k most days, and with the three passes and the high altitude it was often a slow process. The last pass got me more so that the others, and I was stopping every 20m to rest and catch my breath. The views would have been amazing on a sunny day, but the dramatic peaks shrouded in clouds still gave a dramatic result. Right before the pass the rain started, and followed me all the way into the small village of Pacchanta. I was exhausted when I reached the village, and when a kindly Peruvian asked me if I wanted a room in his lodge I didn’t hesitate to accept. I was keen to rest in a dry space and somewhere to dry my tent. As I settled down onto the steps outside my room, waiting for my host to bring me a pot of tea and cook me dinner, the sun broke out from the skies. It was such a blissful moment, feeling the warmth, the peaks of Ausangate still towering in the horizon, knowing I was getting a full meal, and, most importantly, the hot springs that I would swim in after dinner. It was almost dark by the time I slipped into the hot spring. The water was so hot it seemed to steep into my muscles. The cool night air was a nice contrast, and made it bearable to stay in the water for as long as I wanted. Stars were appearing, and only 20m away waited a dry bed. The next morning I only had 2.5h to hike along the dirt road to grab the bus back to Cuzco, where a shower and some new friends waited at the hostel. It was a beautiful hike, with incomparable views. If you are looking for a challenge, and do not underestimate how tough it could be, this is a perfect hike. You should bring a gps and make sure that you’ve acclimatised well before heading out. For an easier time, it is definitely worth looking at going with a tour company, and this hike will often be cheaper that other things around Cuzco. It’s as spectacular as anything else I saw in Peru, and it is still very much off the tourist-radar. I would encourage anyone to come here, but know your abilities and come prepared for the weather and the altitude.
The rocky mountain beyond the Greater Himalayas, the freezing temperatures, the bright sunlight, the snow-capped mountains, beautiful streams and changing horizon are just the few pointers one should take a note of when travelling to this little unknown. Back in the days when living was very simple and technology was a rare thing, this place was buzzing. I wandered to places completely unheard of, walked right up to the cliff and be amazed by the freshness around. Pitched my ⛺ feasted on Maggie tried yak 🍗 I realized the real meaning of being free. It was all about surviving the toughest terrain in basic requirement in the coldest time. Travelling to unknown is all about living the life of people 👫there. Else you are a tourist. #travelling #travelphotography #travelblog #travelguide #travel #unknown #himalaya #life #campinassp #camping #wander #wanderlust #hike #travelquotes #memories #life #simple #naturephotography #landscapephotography #wild #photooftheday #inspiration #instagood #canonphotos #incredibleindia #ladakh @lonelyplanetindia @stories.of.india @natgeoyourshot @canonindia_official @himalayangeographic
