I’m quiet. Inside. Because I just got my Camry of 15 years totaled and abandoned at an autobody shop. I understand Tom Hank’s Cast Away character when he WAILED when Wilson left him. I get it. Camy has been with me for 15 years and I feel the pain.... and relief... of her leaving me.
But don’t we feel gratitude for the faithfulness of Camy the past 15 years? She was my first car! She is actually the car that kept me SAFE when I got rear ended.
Camy is totaled.
She’s gone. I’m kinda sad.
It’s because a lot is going on over here. Like having panic attacks when driving again. Like panting and repeating, “please don’t hit me. Please don’t hit me. Please don’t crunch me.” Or having an HOUR LONG anxiety attack full of fear when having to drive home at night in a new car. Driving home at night WITH CAMY? No prob. Driving home at night (y’all my night vision is going away. Almost 38 over here) with a new car (rental) that makes weird noises and has weird lights and a sunroof that growls and howls at you when you open it.... scary.
I am quiet.
And that’s so okay. :) New car is coming soon. Stay tuned. ☺️
So as i told you later. When i crash my car i've decided to start from the begining.. from A to Z.i have started this project in November (2018)
Least favorite part of turning pens on my lathe you wonder?
It’s when the blank just explodes from the slightest amount of “too much” pressure from the tool.
Everything is going great and then I’ve got material for the trash. 😏
I luckily don’t get these often anymore but still so frustrating. This was so close to finished and then BAM, pieces flying everywhere. This is the reason you protect your eyes. 👍🏼 #LoneStarWoodPens #CustomMade #VeteranMade #LatheTime #WellCrap #Oops #AccidentsHappen #Dallas #Texas
