My kids are my responsibility! If they do right, its my responsibility to appreciate them and if they do wrong its my responsibility to correct them and make them understand its not right!
In the world where parents are shifting their focus more towards parenting in a free style where children are allowed to do what they want and seldom made to learn discipline and manners at a young age, i believe in making them learn this all as they grow!
Its not that i am super strict, but i am trying! In the middle of it all what i really find hard is when other parents interrupt while I’m correcting my child for being naught, by saying, “oh they’re so young, you’re being too hard on them” or interfering with my parenting style!
Never, I repeat never ever interfere when a parent is scolding their child or trying to discipline them if they’re acting out! This does more harm to the child then good!
What the child learns from this is being disrespectful to the parent!
Never say to a child while the parent is correcting them that, “oh you’re such a nice child your parent is so hard on you”
Discipline is a parents prime responsibility! And this should start young!
So “When MOM says No it means a NO”
Understand this, learn this and practice this and whenever you see a Mom say No to her kid it means No! No ifs no buts and No ‘ye to bache hain’ please!
Have you faced this pain of interference while you try to discipline your kids? How do you cope up with this issue?
