My bedtime look has changed a bit. As I work on my insomnia I have found that, along with CBD, guided sleep meditation has been a game changer. I fall asleep quickly and I don't wake up nearly as often, when I do I can just put another one on and I'm out again. For the first time in God knows how long I have slept for more than 4-5 hours a night 😴. The problem though? Hubby hates it. He doesn't do well with the calming voices, breathing exercises, or the sounds. However, he knows it helps me so he dealt with it. I found a compromise though! These headphones are freaking awesome, soft, separate speakers, comfy and small enough that I forget they're there.
I never thought that meditation actually worked, I never thought I could actually have a decent night's sleep, I never thought that I could find healthier ways for me to cope with the struggles I have. I didn't know where to start, I didn't have other people to help me, and I didn't have a community to go to with my struggles. I do now and I will never go back.
