✖️ Full swipe INTERMEDIATE CHEST workout ✖️ - You know what day it is 😈 Here’s a big chest routine for y’all to hit on this international holiday!! - 1️⃣. CABLE FLY (Down): 4x15-20 reps - TIPS: Focus on keeping arms hooked and chest tall. Squeeze pecs at bottom - 2️⃣. FLAT DUMBBELL BENCH PRESS: 4x8-10 reps - TIPS: Focus on retracting shoulder blades before descending and keeping elbows tucked in throughout movement to engage the lats - 3️⃣. SINGLE ARM INCLINE CHEST PRESS: 4x10 reps (each arm) - TIPS: Squeeze chest at the top of each rep - 4️⃣. LANDMINE CHEST PRESS: 4x10-12 reps - TIPS: Stand as tall as possible, focus on squeezing upper pecs and not using the anterior deltoids. - 5️⃣. I will no longer be doing normal bench as it is pointless for strongman so I will use the football bar from now on becuse it feels way better on my shoulders and it'll help with my log press tremendously. I did 10x10 tonight and then finished off with by doing 240lbs for 2 sets 20 reps! 🤯FUNCTIONAL CHEST EXERCISE🤯 — 💪🏼Want to grow your chest while also targeting your core and glutes? OF COURSE YOU DO! — 👉🏼There are 3 truly great benefits of this exercise: . 1. The lack of hip support forces the lifter to drive with the hips, legs, & glutes. Besides creating more full body tension this also does wonders for improving bench press technique as it truly represents the epitome of teaching someone how to engage their lower body during horizontal pressing movements. . 2. When performed in a single arm fashion this produces intense instability & rotational forces the lifter must resist in order to lose his or her balance. As a result the entire core musculature as well as just about every muscle from head to toe must be fully engaged to maintain balance without falling off the side . 3 With this variation of a chest press, the lifter can’t rely on the bench to stop their arms at the bottom. Since reverse dieting I have found that I wasnt hitting the chest from all angles. I have my flat and incline press. But now I also incorporate an incline hammer with high reps, an high cable fly and a low pec dec.
