Do you ever feel like there's not enough time in the day?! 😩
I totallyyyy feel that way on a regular basis 😂
BUT, that doesn't mean I don't make sure my list of priorities gets skewed 🙅🏻♀️
People ALWAYS ask me how I get my workouts in, and make sure I'm fuelling my body properly! 🤷🏻♀️
SIMPLE! I make it a freakin PRIORITY! 🙌🏻
We ALLLL have the exact same amount of hours in the day and it's up to YOU how you choose to spend them! 💜
I plan my day around my workout, not the other way around! Why? Because it's a freakin priority to me! 👏🏻
I make sure I have food choices around me that are going to fuel me for my goals! 🥦🥞🍎
It's not hard guys, you just have to want it! 😁
When you don't have the motivation, remember your WHY!
When my clients are struggling with this we talk through everything and we make a game plan! Failing to prepare is preparing to fail!
So, next time you think you don't have TIME to reach your goals, check in with yourself and ask yourself if you're making your goals a priority!
Who needed to hear this today?! 💕

I am a perfectionist. I love doing things perfect and obsessing over every detail until it is perfect, then I can release it.
One thing I learned recently that I’ve been trying to actively implement in my life is to release it at 70-80%. Waiting for, and expecting, constant perfection can leave you in a state of always waiting to release the product, post the picture, send the message, submit the application. Catch my drift? Sure, some things do call for 90-100%, but it’s important to recognize that’s the exception.
Even one of the greatest goalkeepers (note the autographed scarf 😉) still misses sometimes, but saves a whole bunch. The reality is, perfection is super fun until you’ve given yourself IBS and chronic stress. Don’t do that. Release at 70-80% and just do the thing.

My current everyday shoes.
I purchased these at @dsw
and these are the Dr. Scholl’s no bad days platform slip-on sneakers in the color oyster grey. *side note, I love getting my shoes from DSW! If you’re part of their rewards program, you know what’s up! I got these for $23! 😱👌🏼 I wear these almost everyday for work because they’re so cute and comfy! I also wore these when I went to NYC in April. Thank goodness I wore these when I was there. I don’t know how else I would’ve survived! I walked little over 20,000 steps everyday while I visited NYC.
Anyways, you’ve all seen these in my posts, ig story or snaps! They won’t be the last of it. I’m honestly thinking of getting them in black too!

It’s my anniversary! One year ago today I said YES to myself.
Yes to working out.
Yes to making healthier nutrition choices.
Yes to inspiring other women.
Yes to not living paycheck to paycheck.
Yes to making friends on the Internet (🙈).
Yes to sharing my journey.
Yes to getting out of my comfort zone.
It is interesting to look back because I’m not where I thought I’d be in a year, but I’m also so glad that it’s shifted!
I’ve done all of these but I’ve also learned so much about actually running a business, doing what feels right, not overwhelming my introverted-ness, and also what I’m ACTUALLY good at.
I am so excited for the next year and *officially* starting my business.
PS—This picture is about a year old. So much changes in a year. I am almost positive this shirt was in the donation pile that we got rid of on Sunday. 😆
Watch this space! Coming soon: the What's in my Tumbler site is almost ready for launch. Blogs, videos, tastings and if course my favorite whiskies.
Hou m'n Instagram in de gaten! Binnenkort verwacht: De What's in my Tumbler website is bijna klaar! Blogs, video's, proeverijen en natuurlijk mijn favoriete whiskies!
FULL DISCLOSURE: I get pretty vulnerable with this one, but I wrote a new blog post, because I remembered I do have a blog & writing is such great therapy for me.⠀
If you get a minute on your wonderful Sunday afternoon, check it out. Link is in my profile.
Happy Sunday, friends! ⠀

Creativity was something that I believed only a few people had. Only a few chosen people were creative and because they had this talent, they were successful. .
I’ve come to understand that we are all creative individuals. We are all connected with the source of creativity that is the same source that brought us to this planet and keeps us here. The only difference between a person that uses creativity in a professional way and becomes successful and one that doesn’t is the capacity to allow it to flows into us and trust it. That’s it. .
Some people were born and raised in an environment that allowed them to experience it from an early age and they just went along with it. Some were raised in a completely opposite environment and using their creativity like art, for example, was the way their souls expressed it and even going against what their families told them to do, they did it anyway and creativity prevailed. I don’t know why it happens, but we can all be witnesses of this expression in the world. .
Everything is creativity. How you clean your house, how you fix the door of your house, how you dress, how you cook, how I write this words in a machine made by man using their creativity over and over again until we can fit a computer in the palm of our hand. Saying that creativity is only for a few chosen ones have screwed us up. It has blocked us from receiving the joy of allowing an idea to flow into us and being transformed into a business idea, into a product, into the cure of a disease, of a new recipe, into a loving and admirable song. We should all understand the incredible connection we have of body mind and spirit that can and should be used to create new things. All of us can do it, we just need to understand this concept.

It’s hard to believe this was one year ago today. The pride I felt sitting in that auditorium is hard to describe. The road to get my Master’s degree was long and unclear...and since I’ve gotten the degree there hasn’t been much clarity either.
Here’s the thing: with each day you have to re-evaluate your alignment. What feels good? Do you feel like you are doing what you are supposed to be doing?
There are some days like Tuesday a parent asks me to take a picture of him and his son outside of the college I work because it’s his son’s first day of college—first day of anyone in his family going to college—and he wants to remember it forever. And I feel in alignment.
There are days like yesterday when work is draining and then I come home to a client call that lights me up and makes me unbelievably excited for the future of my business.
My advice is to do what feels good (and what you have to to pay the bills 😇), but constantly re-evaluate your alignment, passions, and interests. What makes life so fun is that those are constantly changing and it’s up to us to notice the change and change with them.
