Sharing a gentle life skill for a Wednesday morning . Just a little something I’ve pick up along the way #lifewithkids
I don’t know where I’m going.
I know that there is only now and that our lives are made up of a lot of now moments all stringed together.
I’m so grateful for the community that is building around me.
I would say that I don’t know how I got on for so long without them, but that’s just not true. Humans have an endless capacity for suffering, myself very much included. My life has had so many moments of “I can’t do this anymore”, and somehow I did. So much love. So much pain. And life isn’t what happens in between. It’s what it is.

Warm weather, extra hours of daylight, time off from school and work. What to do with all of the new-found freedom? Look no further than your local playgrounds.
You can be 2 or 92 and still enjoy the playground. Swinging, sliding, spinning, or simply strolling around the park, the playground offers something for everyone. 👨👩👧👦
Using playground apparatus is good for the body; it builds strength, develops planning skills, helps with coordination and let’s not forget that all-important confidence boost.
But play doesn’t always require materials or equipment. You can look for bugs, watch the clouds, feel the grass, roll down a hill, play tag or hide-n-go-seek. How about a game of I Spy while sitting in the sun? 👁
Our mission at @InspiredPlayHawaii
is to encourage people of all ages to play by helping to build innovative and playful spaces within communities.
Summer is the best time to let your hair down and feel like a kid again. And so we encourage you to go outside on a nice day and visit your local playground. Everyone deserves to play! 🧡

Cancer season has had us riding the wave of our emotions and Capricorn energy today is our anchor, grounding us, bringing us back into alignment with our true, higher selves. Express gratitude for all that you’ve learned during this past month. Enjoy the path you are on ✨ •
This is a great time to reflect and let go! But I invite you this time to focus more on positive changes you can make rather than focusing on the negative aspects that might not be serving you. What can you add—routines, thought patterns, etc. ?
What I’ve been practicing this month: ~ noticing when I’m feeling down, angry, sad, upset, etc and allowing myself to feel but not allowing myself to spiral. THIS HAS BEEN HUGE!
~ noticing when I am looking to the outside for answers or happiness or love and reminding myself that I am all that I need
~ allowing my shadow side to show face so I can heal ~ letting go of expectations, attachments, and negative thoughts and actions
~ connecting 💕 more community, more putting myself out there, more pushing myself towards goals I’ve been hiding from

Who will take responsibility for food insecurity in Australia?
In Australia, everyone should be able to put good food on their table.
Through good times and tough times, we should all have the dignity and security of a warm and safe home, food on the table and access to the essential things we need. No one in Australia should be forced to go without these basics, yet for millions of resilient and resourceful Australians struggling to keep up with the cost of living, the current way of doing things is leaving people behind.
