Leveling up on our Mickey ear game. 😎
Typhoon Lagoon’s newest fan! Me & mommy had a blast on Saturday! My favorite part was going on the water slides! We also loved that the kid tubes had a bottom so it was easier for me to sit! 🌊☀️💙

Another exciting thing this morning! You can see two of the entrances/walkways to Galaxy’s Edge open from the Disneyland Railroad! I love how you can’t see into the land at all from the entrances though - the mystery of it all is 🙌🙌🙌! To all the Cast Members exploring Galaxy’s Edge today or this week, HAVE FUN!
-HOW IT ALL STARTED-
The summer before I started grad school (2010), we planned a trip to WDW with my mom. Malakai was 3 and Mimi was 2. This Disney trip was Malakai’s second and Mimi’s first. It was the FIRST TIME any of us had stayed on Disney site. We chose to stay at The All Stars Movie Resorts, since Malakai was going through a Toy Story phase. Grammie (my mom) paid for the trip and I just pitched in a bit. When the trip was over, I knew I would NEVER stay off Disney property again. I was IN LOVE! December of the same year, I gave in. I booked my first Disney vacation for me and the kiddos, and my addiction would only increase from there. Ever since 2010, we’ve stayed onsite, and every single trip was charged to a credit card. Eventually that credit card became a Disney credit card. I was determined to bring Disney into our lives as much as possible. As long as I had available credit on my credit card, we were headed to Disney one way or another. The following year in 2011, we went again in May for Mimi’s 3rd birthday. What an awesome way to celebrate her birthday. That trip consisted of myself, the kiddos, my mom, and my nephew Keon. It was beyond a trip to remember. Mimi interacted with all of the characters and it was during that trip I saw the spark in Mimi’s eye. She loved Disney just as much as I did. Needless to say, every year until now, consisted of a Disney trip. Either to the parks at WDW or Disney Cruise (2-Dream and 1-Magic). The trips have been a combination of just me, me and the kiddos, me and a friend, and me, the kiddos, and Grammie. Plus the one trip that included my nephew. I can’t think of a year between 2010 and NOW, that I wasn’t at Disney. And how did I make it happen so often?!! I didn’t hesitate to continue to swipe my credit card. If I wanted to be at the Happiest Place on Earth, I figured I’d make it happen and deal with it later. Of course over time I’d make payments or even pay the credit card off, only to start over and charge more trips. But not anymore. TO BE CONTINUED.....
Don’t mind me. I’m just over here anxiously waiting for the arrival of the Halloween season @disneyland

During the summers (from June-August) I work on their new Halloween costumes so since I’m going over their wish list right now, it’s definitely getting me in that spookastic mood!! 🖤🎃
