Slide Rock State Park
Joshua Tree National Park. Infrared camera.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view but it's not sane
It's not sane
I just want someone to say to me, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
And I don't understand why sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but it's a great escape
Escape, escape, escape
To add to yesterday’s post, Chris wanted a variety of images he could use to update and use for his social media. We left my home studio and then traveled all over the Phoenix Metro area. Our first stop was downtown Phoenix and from there we went to Saguaro Lake. Then we headed back west to Lake Pleasant and finally the White Tanks. Phoenix Metro area is huge! It was about 200 miles and even more smiles. I was glad he got to visit some of the areas he had never been to. Although it was more of a guided tour of Phoenix and he’s probably more comfortable behind the camera, he was a rock star in front of it! Thanks Chris!

Horseshoe Bend has been on my list since I went to Arizona for the first time in 2016! It showcases a crazy curve of the Colorado River and it's suuuper popular (so popular that the city now charges $10 parking even though the overlook is on federal lands). And, even though EVERYONE has probably seen a photo of it, it is much larger than it seems! We couldn't even fit the whole thing into the camera frame without a wide angle lens!
Horseshoe Bend: ✔️
Sunset the other day was pretty epic
Grassy trails, all the extra rain Utah has gotten have sure made for some pretty green views this year.
