Okay. Let's talk about food trends. 🤦🏻‍♀️ . All these cleanses, detoxes, fat loss foods, lose 15lbs in 10 days diets - it's all a big scheme to SELL you things. Expensive things! 💰 . 🧠 Use your common sense! The human body has evolved over tens of MILLIONS of years. Do you really think that celery juice can provide you with a "much needed cleanse"? . Our bodies come very effectively equipped with an excellent digestive system and a liver to detox us from any harmful substances. You already have EVERYTHING you need to be healthy, you reeeally don't need to chug ACV to be healthy. 🙅🏻‍♀️ . What you DO need is to provide these beautifully functioning, complex systems in your body with the proper nutrition, rest and activity that they need to do what they were immaculately designed to do. ✔️ . BOTTOM LINE: Don't try to retire your body's beautiful tools that cleanse and maintain it, but rather do what you need to do to support those very tools (organs). . Forget the $180/week juice cleanse. 😩 Just focus on mostly eating REAL food 🍅🍆🥒🍠🥕🍠🍖🥚🍉🥑🍍. . This means unprocessed, no weird unpronounceable ingredients, fruits and vegetables, meat and plenty of water 💦 (+ sleep 🛌 and movement 🏃🏻‍♀️). . Don't allow big corporations to scare you into buying products you don't actually need. 👩🏻‍💼👨🏻‍💼🤛🏻Use your common sense to determine what food is beneficial to your health and eat it! I did a stadium workout today instead of lifting weights & was so beat🤯 On my run home, my little brother was on his scooter at the stop light right ahead of me so I hopped on immediately. #Beansandgreens saves the day! My fave way to use the past-their-prime greens bought with more good intention than time: Olive oil, garlic, can o’ beans in sauté pan till garlic’s toasted. Add all the greens that aren’t slimey. Toss till wilty. Deglaze with one of our tonics (the heat kills the #probiotics , but is a great addition of acid & salt- I’ve been on a Mr. Garlic kick, but Tut is nice too!). Cut heat. Throw in other green things going south- the fresh herbs, that avocado getting mushy. Lil’ salt, lil’ pepper, lil’ citrus. Evening gang! Tonight thought I would share something a little sweet and something you guys asked about my quick “Nutella” and caramelised bananas 🍌 so good and hits all the sweet spots 🤪👇🏻 1tbs nut butter (hazelnut) 1tsp cacao powder 2tsp maple syrup 1 banana chopped up 1tsp coconut oil Fry your banana in 1tsp of maple and coconut oil in a pan over medium heat, should take 5-7 minutes till they are golden and caramelised. For the “Nutella” add all ingredients together and mix with a spoon add a little water to thin it out to desired consistency. Load toast toast up!!
