Anyone else ❤️ sprouts?! As always, keepin’ it simple with this lil’ recipe. You’ll need:
White balsamic vinegar
Salt & pepper
Wash and trim your sprouts.
Drizzle light olive oil and white balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt and pepper. Preheat oven to 400 and bake! I like mine crunchy and crispy, so I leave mine in for about 15 minutes! #healthyliving #fitfood #dietandexercise #greens #eatyoveggies #fuel #ownit #aricassummerincentive
I have a new theory that all you really need in life/the kitchen are smoked seasonings. Smoked sea salt is my fam’s latest obsession & we just added smoked paprika to the mix & I’m never going back! What’s your go-to seasoning??
Back to work this week aka back to prepping lots of food for quick lunches throughout the week. Roasted alllll the veg last night & smoked sea salt/paprika were the main seasonings of choice + a lil fresh garlic, black pepper, herb blends= delish
brown rice, daikon radish seeds, & barley seeds mix

—although I love a good veggie omelette as much as anyone! I try to keep my freezer stocked with a variety of #frozenveggies
because they’re convenient, they mean I don’t have to go grocery shopping quite as often, and they provide me with flexibility when coming up with meals for myself and my family. Frozen zucchini and frozen cauliflower are two of my favorite smoothie add-ins. What are yours??? And for the record, this one tasted pretty good! 😋

From March to November (thanks California!) you can usually find me out back poking at my garden.
Each year I correct the mistakes from the previous year, and throw in a few new elements. The expansion has been gradual but exciting.
Gardening is more than just growing food. It teaches patience and hope. Two things I'm willing to bet many of us forget in our busy adult lives.
Fueled by sheer curiosity and the notion that someday I'll be able to eat primarily from my garden (veggie pizza anyone?), this year I'm growing (for the first time) radishes, cabbage, onions butternut squash and blackberries in addition to the usual suspects (zucchini, tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, hot peppers, herbs).

so yummy! veggie delight + tofu w/ brown rice 🍛 🥦🥕🍚 my friend went to pho basil & it was so good! Lots of vegan options, definitely would recommend! They have so many options from curries to noodles to rice dishes!
