CREATE THE OPPORTUNITY OF GROWTH THROUGH MOVEMENT & PLAY —–––––—–––––—–––––—––––– 🤸🏽‍♀️I saw this railing and decided to balance-walk across, I knew he would be watching me so I decided to let him try. At first he was scared and he was holding on to me and didn’t want to go on his own, but I did the same thing I do every time we explore new movements and new places. I have him try it out while letting him know that I wouldn’t let anything happen to him. I ask him, “Do you feel safe with Daddy? and “Do you think Daddy will allow you to get hurt?” He always says, “No, you won’t Daddy” ........ By doing this I am not only building trust with him, I am also allowing him to FEEL DISCOMFORT and to let him know it’s ok, and that he will get past it if he tries with focused-intent. . . . 🐒 Then I decided to play around and do some hanging thangs. Again he saw me and now after the Railing Balancing he gained the confidence to copy and do what I do and well if watched the video you saw what happened. He automatically went for it! . . . 👣 This is why Natural Movement, acquiring physical skills and (re)Discovering your Positive High is so important. It gives you the opportunity to overcome things and feel great about yourself! I know how it feels to not have the earned confidence that stopped me from reaching my highest potential so I wanna give him a head start.
