One big take away I learned the past few days is to take action. This can be in your health, nutrition, business...anything!
Far too often I have had dreams and goals. I would spend so much time searching for the answers and where to start, but would never just start.
Today I am taking action in my goals and though I may not have all the answers, I have a vision of where I want to be!
This weekend was full of fun, fellowship, and learning. You would have thought I was gone for a month the way these two have been acting 😂They have been all over me like white on rice since Sunday 😊 A momma and her boys😊 I’m building this empire for them. I work hard and do what I do for them. They are my heart ❤️
I was told before going to Beachbody Coach Summit, by three of these people, just how amazing it would be. Amazing is an understatement.
I had no idea that being with over 25,000 strangers would make me feel at home.
I had no idea that I would learn so much about myself.
I had no idea how much you can feel so tired and so pumped up at the same time.
This community’s vision and theme of ‘You belong here’ did not disappoint. We all truly felt like we belonged.
I became so much closer with this group who are now my family. There was just something about being there. Light your pants on fire kind of something. I came out knowing I have a purpose in this company, just like I have a purpose in the world. .
If you don’t not have a community like this, I strongly encourage you to find one! I’m not saying this to get you to join us, I’m saying this so you know just how VITAL it truly is.. because even I didn’t know before.
Now I’m going to go sleep for 3 days straight! ✌🏻😂
While sitting at the airport today reflecting on my weekend and having some lunch an announcement went overhead stating that someone had left the preworkout that I know and love at the check in. This got me to chuckling because with so many coaches going through the airport today it could be anyone’s.
Another lady was also laughing and we started talking about our experience over the last few days. This also started a conversation with another gal a couple tables down. None of us knew each other, but we enjoyed chatting and passing the time until our flights.
Before becoming a health coach I would have sat at the airport mindlessly scrolling social media, not talking to anyone, and checking the clock ever 5 minutes.
Today not only did I reflect on my experience, but I started making a game plan for my business and met some amazing ladies!
This opportunity has completely changed my life...physically, mentally and emotionally. I have met some of my best friends and am a part of a community that always has my back. I also run my own business virtually while continuing to work as a physical therapist.
Maybe you have been following along this weekend, maybe you have been following my journey along the way and maybe this has sparked your interest...what’s stopping you from stepping out of your comfort zone and joining me...what do you have to lose? Or better yet let me say are you ready for what you’re about to gain!
I made these friendships through a free app called instagram..gotta love technology ☺️Eternally grateful to have these strong beautiful girls in my life. What started out as bonding over @whole30
and our ‘weight loss journeys’ quickly and quietly evolved into something much bigger and I consider myself to be so damn lucky to call Avery + Annie my dear friends.
Health and weight loss journeys can be a little isolating. My advice is to find your community- send a quick encouraging DM to someone that inspires you. Ask them a question. You never know where that will lead. An accountability buddy? A recipe swappin buddy? A friend for life? Maybe 😉✨🔆💛
This trip has been amazing! Every year for the last three years I have been coming to this conference, hoping to come away with a better understanding of my business and strategies to use to grow my business. This year I took away so much more than strategies, I came away with more passion, better friendships, and a deeper understanding of who I am. ⠀
I was able to take away confidence, a new feeling of belonging and truly knowing that I have found a community that will support me, when I know that I will fall. (Which I am no longer worried about doing.)⠀
I leave behind a place that we all sweat and worked out together and through that sweat we grew stronger! This trip has inspired me and to find inspiration in others. ⠀
Have you been inspired lately? Do you need to find a community to call your own? Do any of these things relate to you? Just know that whatever path you are on RIGHT now, there are always people to help inspire you, if you surround yourself with the right kind of people.
For years I’ve seen these coaches on social media posting about their community and summit. For a long time I really had no idea what they did, but their sense of purpose and community always had me watching curiously. I’ve wanted to go to summit for years (even though I didn’t really understand what it was), because the experience and connections looked like what I needed.
I finally got to experience that this weekend and it was everything I hoped for and more.
I’m sitting in the airport trying to find the words to capture this weekend.
It’s been an experience unlike any other.
I’ve known my team for a year, but we finally met in person and instantly we all fit together.
Now that doesn’t mean we’re all alike, we are all so different in so many ways, but we all have the same passion to help others.
The theme of Summit was “you belong here”, meant in every sense. You belong in this community, at this event, pursuing the goal of helping others find themselves and their health.
So if you’ve been curious, like I was, about what this gig really is about, comment or message me. I have a completely free and commitment free behind the scenes sneak peek starting Monday.
You’ll learn exactly what it is we do, how we earn money, and what it takes. But you’ll also get to feel this community that I love ❤️
Some people would think I am crazy to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get ready for a workout...especially after a night of dancing/drinks #balancedlife
But it was completely worth it because the energy, motivation and support I felt during this workout with 20,000 other people, music blasting and amazing trainers was unbelievable!
You would never know we have never met in person before this weekend but I can tell you what I have found friends for life!
Being in a small town it can be hard to find connections and friendships but I have found a community that I don’t know what I would do without! So grateful for this weekend!
Coming from a girl who never really had close girl friends, this team has changed my life.
Coming to this event I had met one person. I have spoke with many others via Instagram or Facebook & also learned more about some of our successful coaches’ stories from our weekly coach calls. After day two, I have already personally met tons of women not only on my team, but on other teams.
Special shoutout to my team because not only have they welcomed me with open arms, but they have been so genuinely interested in learning more about me. I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me as a coach, but just after two days, I firmly believe my future is bright.💛
Thank you to the agents, clients and friends that came to our Living Matters Group event for National Mojito Day! Mojitos, cupcakes, nibbles and plenty laughs...it was an awesome evening. If you missed it, please join us next month where the event theme will be centered around icecream 🍦🍦🍦.

You know what is SO totally rockin'? This crazy amazing community I’m in.
Do you have a community you run with? If you don’t you must absolutely find one. In fact, my friend Samantha runs a pretty awesome one - @contentandconnection
When you do the hard things, in life, in business, it becomes absolutely crucial to be surrounded by a positive, supportive, and empowering community.
My first real taste of community was when I joined the Army. Most everyone thought I was crazy… but my Army community cheered me! There was a camaraderie we all experienced from being part of something greater than ourselves that brought us together through thick and thin.
Most everything I experienced in the military was like that. Going to Airborne school, which still to this day is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, there was a hard moment when I almost gave up. But I didn’t, because someone was cheering me on, right behind me (literally!), telling me I could do it. I was one of 3 women who graduated, and we started with close to 30.
Community is the thing I missed most when I left, and I’ve only experienced a fraction of it since. It really wasn’t until I joined Young Living that I again found that freaking spectacular community I had been longing for.
Maybe that sounds crazy… about as crazy as joining the Army… but often when you follow your gut, amazing things happen. It’s no wonder people have written about Young Living being almost “cult like.” I guess when everyone is THAT fired up, it can seem like we are drinking a special kind of Kool-Aid… it’s called oils!
Next week, I’m about to be surrounded by 30,000+ members of that community at our convention!!! Eeeek! Lots and lots of Kool-Aid… I mean oils! Ha!
If you don’t have community, find one, create one, build one, join one. Join me! I’d love to have ya.
It’s SO worth it. And, it's worth appearing crazy for.
Rock on. 🤘🏼
Find that community and friendships that motivate and support you!! I would never have met these ladies if I didn’t say yes to the coaching opportunity!
