Just goofing around with this little girl and she gave me some good giggles. Plus watch till the end 🤣🤣🤣
Things I've learned as a first time mom:
1. Breastfeed - everywhere, because that baby needs to eat & it's not weird
2. You'll learn the definition of tired, but no matter how sleepy you are you will find the energy to take care of that baby
3. You don't need everything on your registry, keep the packages and tags. You didn't have to spend all that time washing baby clothes while you were pregnant
4. (Still struggling with this one) give dad a chance- he's going to figure it out, just like you had to
5. Social life is different now, it's okay to say no
6. Listen to your instincts- momma knows best
7. It's okay to co-sleep
8. Make mom friends, you'll need them
9. It's okay to have bad days
10. Time flies, enjoy the snuggles
SEVEN month old baby!
Showing off our second favorite thing! Sitting! Hudson still loves to stand more but this is something she can do all by herself! She is getting so close to pulling herself up onto things! 🐒
She still hates tummy time and doesn’t look like she’ll be crawling anytime soon. She is officially in the 9th percentile for height which is a huge step! 🎉
We have recently switched from our beloved NP to a PA that practices close to us. I was super anxious about it but ended up loving her! We now go to a clinic within a few blocks from our house! Yay for rural care! At her intake appointment they kept commenting how strong Hudson is. The PA told us she can already tell Hudson is going to be a strong willed little lady and said “we make what we are” lol lord help us all!
We’re pretty sure she says ‘mama’ and we definitely heard a ‘dada’. She is such a little firecracker and I love every minute of it! Ever since she was born she had such a big personality and has been the most aware baby I’ve known! I love watching her learn and grow. She completes my heart. I’ve said it before but she is actually an angel 💖
Ready for the reveal?? With such a hectic schedule for the next couple weeks, Oliver and I decided to either not do our babies’ sexes reveal or keep it real low key... even though we had sooo many fun ideas! Ones that didn’t involve pink and blue, nor any gender things that say who’s who. But timing was just off. So big thank you to our dearest friend Tina who was able to spontaneously come out and make it a lil special for us!! Filling up balloons and making sure we try to stay awake when soo tired, close to midnight and all, she’s the best. So have a watch and see what the babies will be!
We're lucky we live in a time when people are starting to realize the importance of being a stay-at-home mom. No more saying "housewife lang" as if it's something to be ashamed of. Being a mother is a vocation.💛 Read more about how not to feel bad for being a stay-at-home mom at https://momseaph.com/2019/07/24/how-to-not-feel-bad-for-being-a-stay-at-home-mom/ Link in my bio.

My true first love 💕 Getting to see his/her movement made everything feel so real. I couldn’t be happier to see my little bundle of joy growing inside me. I’ll always cherish your very first photo with more photos to come! I love you anak can’t wait to see you. #firsttimemom #momtobe2019 #babiesfirstphoto
8 years with this boy who first called me Mom. 💙 He came into my arms after a long wait to get pregnant, IVF, losing a twin, lots of bed rest, so many tests, preeclampsia, IUGR, and an emergency c-section 6 weeks early at a whopping 3 LBS.
I didn’t hear him cry and my doctor and friend could see the fear in my eyes. All I remember was him saying very firmly, “everything is going to be fine! we are bagging him and we are not going to lose him.”
He called the NICU home and 3 weeks later we brought him to our Virginia home. It was a whirlwind 3 weeks but I wouldn’t change it for anything if that meant not having him as my son.
T Man! 🎈
As the two of us sit in the rocker, waiting for daddy to get out if the shower, I am in awe that our #tinyhuman
in just under a week.
I seriously don't know where the time has gone, and am so sad that our #babygirl
is growing up. .
She is starting to be more adventurous, like poking the puppy....Meeko was ok with it Buckeye not so much or pulling herself up in the crib to see what is around. .
Hopefully, these rocking sessions won't subside, because cuddles with her is the perfect way to end each day.
Honest motherhood post: Today I took the perfect picture of my little rainbow in the perfect little outfit. I was so satisfied because she was posed perfectly. Moments later while enjoying a cute snuggly moment with my little sweetheart, I got shit on for the 1st time.( I'm sure it won't be the last) Her blow out went through her diaper, her perfect little onesie, through my shirt, on my boppy pillow, and on my pants. That by far surpassed the poop explosion she had earlier in the morning. It literally shot out her butt during a diaper change, onto her sleep sack, covering her changing mat cover, all while getting all over my hands.
But hey...I got the perfect little picture.
