It's a beautiful day today! 22 degrees and sunny. The weather hasn't been warm in a long time. It doesn't bother that I'm working indoors all day today as I can still see the view from my office. On the drive to work this morning, I saw people walking their dogs, bunch of teens playing basketball, little kids on their bicycles, the birds chirping, the air was crisp. What a time to be alive! I want to appreciate every minute. It may have got to do with the #bluemoonmeditation
that I did last night. It was a great reminder to let go of all the negative energy, the toxic and unhealthy relationships and the thoughts that were no longer serving me. After I completed the meditation, I was instantly detached from all of the crap. I think I needed it the most. It felt like a huge relief and the load taken off my shoulders. Everything looked blissful and energetic. Full moon meditations are so fruitful and wonderful. My heart is filled with #gratitude
right now and I'm #grateful
for everything I have #manigested
this far. .

A lot of people jump into nutrition and fitness programs without a resounding "WHY". They do it because they want to lose fat which is great but it's not a sustainable why. Ask yourself the deeper whys. Mindset is the FIRST order of business because once you have the right mentality, everything else below follows.
See a lot of people nowadays are so focused on the latest fitness trend that will optimize performance but breathing should be addressed first. I must say, including me, we all have dysfunctional breathing patterns. The breath is a very powerful tool to access your inner strength. It allows you to quickly intercept subconscious thoughts that lead to anxiety and depression. Proper breathing gives us the capacity to heal emotionally and physically. It goes far beyond the exchange of O2 and CO2.
Self-explanatory but not everyone does it well. Our bodies are 70% water. We came from our mother's womb which is mostly water. We are biologically wired to have a harmonious relationship with water. The science literature backs this up. When you drink adequate amounts of water, it leads to more energy, improved digestion and better mental clarity to name a few. It's a simple habit but very uncommon practice.
Food plays a more important role than fitness. Yes you read that right. It impacts our physiology far greater than exercise. We engage with food more than exercise. The food we eat is information not just energy. The food we eat affects our mood, different body systems and how we function generally as human beings.
The only reason why it ranks 5th is because a person cannot survive 5 minutes without breath and weeks without food. But a person can survive months without exercise. Movement though is essential to our wellness both in mind and body. It allows blood to flow, gives us strength and range of motion if done properly.
Mantenha seu coração elevado, e os olhos fixos no amor, então perceba como o céu fica mais azul e o sol brilha mais forte para você e em você.♥️☀️

The do’s and don’ts of discussing mental illness 💭🖌 *Note - this list is not exhaustive 😅* Most people often come from a good place, but it’s important to be mindful of how some comments or questions can be understood from the receiving end. Let’s all spread awareness and advocate for this 💕 Many people will experience at least one form on mental illness in their lifetime, so it’s important that we all know how to best communicate so that we can foster supportive relationships 🙏🏼
