Micromanaging leads to Frustration. So does not knowing what your team is doing.
As a general rule, it can be stated that
1️⃣ your team wants to see who you are. that you care. that you know what's going on. what you value and what your expect from them.
2️⃣ your team wants the authority to work independently. the authority to make their own decisions when it comes to their deliverable. the ability to work without having to ask for permission every step of the way.
This can be a tough balance to find! I recommend establishing a routine of check-ins and check-outs where you're updated and get a say in rather than constantly interrupting your team's workflow by (constantly) asking to be updated at random times 💪
This routine also makes sure that you DO know what's going on rather than be completely removed from the day-to-day. 💪
What works for you and your team? Let me know in the comments 😃

This is Alix, and Billie Jean. Alix is the extremely talented RMT that I spent years trying to find. She has an amazing understanding of the body, knows the demands of athletes, and creates the most relaxing space for self care. If you’re looking to try someone new, or have never been for a massage, follow (@massagebyalixsutherland
) and book yourself in. Thanks for being so awesome Alix.
"George Clooney is the only man who can make money with his hands in his pockets." 💬
Was I George Clooney today? No. Was I perfect? Also no. Did I shoot myself in the hand with the nail gun? No (God bless). And finally, did I have fun? Yes.
I did enjoy learning some new things and one day I'll build a guest room like this when I'm a home owner. (A man can dream can't he?)
