I am ready for a challenge.
As I get closer to having baby #2
, I don’t want to lose the momentum I’ve built this pregnancy.
(Mostly) fueling my body well.
But I can feel the motivation levels tanking. Enter: new commitment to keep me going.
Today I committed to completing 100 workouts. I don’t have 100 days left until baby but I am going to go all in until that baby shows up! (Insert “check with your doctor” disclaimer here if you’re also expecting.) This program sounds amazing - cardio, weights, active recovery. It’s also flexible especially if you’re growing a human or just starting out on your journey.

So I've been going back and forth if I should post this.. but then I remembered why I created this account. TO BE ACCOUNTABLE!! 📈
Yes there was a small drop in weight. Is it then end of the world it wasn't massive.. NO! Could I probably do bettwe?? YES! Am I going to put myself down.. HELL NO!
Over the wekeend I didn't fall off the #ketolifestlye
but I did indulge in an few extra "treats" 🙊 I shouldn't be ashamed I did because you know what. LIFE 🌼 I enjoyed myself, I didn't kick myself out of ketosis and I had fun!!👯♀️ Things I need to remind myself... have fun with food and not to stress too much over the number on the scales!!! My clothes are getting bigger and I'm even getting complements on my face looking slimmer.. so who really is the winner here 🤷♀️

This is me! I've been having a hard time accepting my body the way it is lately. Why? Because my job is to motivate and inspire you to live healthy lifestyles. The fact that I gained about 20 lbs over the last year and a half, I started thinking to myself "how am I supposed to help others get healthy while I'm over here doing the opposite of what I'm teaching?" I felt ashamed and I felt like I needed to hide myself. 🦋
My weight gain started when I began working on some personal pains in therapy. Instead of cutting or doing drugs, I began to eat my emotions. It's what helped me numb that pain. Due to the weight gain, my scars on my arms got bigger and stretched out. I felt so ashamed. I've always worn long sleeve shirts even with 100°+ weather just to hide my big arms and scars. But this time, during this incredible conference that I went to... my friends encouraged me to take off my sweater and show my arms because they are beautiful and so am I. I CRIED! To feel so much love and acceptance from people that I barely met in person made me feel so loved. 🦄
Besides my therapist, no one has ever told me that my arms are beautiful and that they tell a story, my story. So, here I am, doing the Mermaid stretch from my new program which I love! I asked my hunny to take a picture of me just as I am, I didn't go grab a long sleeve to cover my arms because like someone special once told me, "you gotta forgive yourself and love yourself for who you are". I fought a battle and I won. I'm not going to be afraid anymore because I have an example to set for my daughter and other women that are struggling, I am brave, and last but not least... I AM BEAUTIFUL! 🧜♀️

Be brave enough to step outside your comfort zone.
What have you been reluctant to try? What have you wanted to do but have been too scared to try?
There were so many things I did this past weekend that were totally out of my comfort zone and because I was brave enough to take a chance, I left Indy a different person than I went.
I have never been more excited and passionate about helping others, about growing my team to spread the happiness, joy and health I’ve gained from being part of this community.
I encourage you to find something you’re passionate about and go for it too! 💕
