REFLECTION AND COMMENTS
BY QUEEN777 This is not the first time that beings have unnatural relationships together, relationships that may be at the level of the spirit, as one might suppose Eve's with the serpent-god (even if it is a symbol or archetype of sin). But here, Enoch relates that spiritual beings have begun to covet women. They have had sexual intercourse together, because nothing is easier for a celestial being to possess a human body to satisfy his needs.
In The Testament of Reuben (5: 6.7), we are told how this happened: "They seduced the Watchers who existed before the Flood, they watched them continually, a mutual desire was born and the watchers had an idea of the act, they took a human form and appeared to the women, as they joined with them. As for them, they desired these apparitions by thought, and gave birth to giants, for the size of the Watchers had seemed to them to reach heaven. The Book of Enoch is not a Book of Theology, it only tells what has happened. The Bible, too, only tells what happened, (Gen 6) and very succinctly as if the canon of the churches did not want to dwell on the subject, truncating a good part of the history. But then why refer to it?
In reality, the Watchers have had sex with consenting women. And I will say, then, that the evil that these Watchers and women have done is the spiritual and carnal continuity of what Eve and Adam did with the serpent, who was a being of flesh or a spiritual being taking a human image (the name "snake" is the symbol of this tempter)
These watchmen made an abominable oath on Mount Hermon. That name was given to this mount because of that oath. There is indeed a pun on Hebrew in this name. Herem means "swear by anathema
We do not have to fight against flesh and blood but against spirits. But what exactly do we know about those spirits against whom we have to struggle? As we will see later, when the Giants (sons whom the angels had with the humans) were destroyed with the whole population by the flood, and some fallen angels were chained, their thought-forms survived and wander on earth. By the multiple temptations
