Come sta venendo? . . . . . . . . . . . #drawing #draw #art #artist #pencildrawing #pencil #graphite #derwent #arte #handmade #blackandwhite #onpaper #disegni #derwent #learning #nextshow #sketch #mygallery #deandre #icon #portraitphotography #sketch #sketchbook #toptags #poesia #inspirationalquotes #portrait #musicaitaliana #blackandwhite #mannarino
Horseradish - throughout the years of catering i can safely say this is one ingredient i don’t like the taste of! Definitely more fun to design than taste... Who else likes horseradish?

Born in a Trunk: The Films of Judy Garland. “With my high starched-collar and my high-topped shoes, And my hair piled high upon my head, I went to lose a jolly hour on the trolley, And lost my heart instead...” Resisting being cast as Esther Smith, Garland saw it as just another juvenile, “Meet Me In St.Louis” (1944) is a Technicolor treasure. Directed by a master of color and style Vincente Minnelli, Garland is at the peak of her powers as Esther. Like weary WWII audiences, Minnelli too fell in love with his leading lady and they were married about six months after the film’s release. Costarring with Garland is champion scene-stealer child star Margaret O'Brien as Tootie giving her best performance and rewarded with a Special Oscar. Mary Astor, Marjorie Main, Chill Wills, Leon Ames, Tom Drake, Harry Davenport, Joan Carroll and even Lucille Bremer (Producer Freed's protege) each create their special moments. Presented in four magical vignettes it is based on Sally Benson's New Yorker Magazine memories. Set at the turn of the century this valentine is of a time of great prosperity, peace and excitement as the Smith family eagerly await the opening of the St. Louis World's Fair of 1904. A timeless Oscar nominated score of now standards, it became the biggest MGM film released in the USA to that time after "GWTW" at $5M. So big was "St. Louis" that Garland and O'Brien both entered the Top 10 Box-office stars of '45 at No.8 and No. respectively up from No.14 and No.20 in ‘44. It also set off series of imitations none of which came anywhere near it. The Oscar nominated “The Boy Next Door” was the third song Garland released as a single as a flip side of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” which peaked at No.27. “The Trolley Song” reached No.5 and the standard “Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis” reached No.22. The new songs were written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane. Released as a collection of singles it reached No.2 on the album charts. Producer Arthur Freed confirmed this was his favorite among his many great musicals and for Garland it was commercially the biggest of her career. “Clang, clang, clang went the trolley, Ding, ding, ding went the bell, Zing, zing...”
