Boom Crash Hopera, an Imperial Australian Sparkling Ale brewed with Summer, Vic Secret and Galaxy Hops from Beachwood Brewing in collaboration with Alesmith Brewing Company, 9% ABV 77 IBU. First off!! I know a lot of peeps stayed away from this because they read "Sparkling Ale" and not Hazy... And to them I say, "For Shame!". This was so good and recommend it soo much!! On the nose you get earthy and floral notes and some lemon zest, a mild bitterness hits the tongue, some dankness, followed by a nice explosion of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and even more of the bitterness on the backend. CHEERS!! 🍻🍻🍻
Everybody Wants Some "Azacca", Hazy DIPA brewed with Azacca Hops from Hoof Hearted Brewing, 8% ABV. Well, It wasn't bad, didn't blow my mind either. I wasn't much of a fan of Azacca hops to begin with, lacks a solid hop profile. Has some pine(?) grassy, but not your typical resinous or full mouthfeel that follows a solid danky gulp. There was some stonefruit to the aroma but not much found elsewhere, finished flat and dry...Cheers!? 🍻
A very very slow week for #wealthywednesday
... nevertheless, we move onwards and upwards with our pick of the week: Superman Year One #1
by Frank Miller 🤑 New changes to the origin are in store, but will this be a hit or miss? Will we get DKR Frank Miller? Time will tell! We however, are willing to spec on it! 🤑💰#superman
Did We Just Become Best Friends, Hazy DIPA brewed with Galaxy and El Dorado Hops from Hoof Hearted Brewing, 8% ABV. Loving this label art! 🤗🤗 Really big tropical and citrus notes, followed by some more subtle stone fruit, gets a little grassy as it coats the tongue, bitterness is mild, toward the back the El Dorado hops definitely shine through, has a smooth, hoppy, resinous finish. CHEERS!! 🍻🍻
So I figured go big or stay home for my #twofortuesday
. I don't pull these out too often as i plan on havi ng most of them graded and don"t want to risk damage but it is nice to gently handle, admire & share the love once in a while.
