Happening in #JamaicaNow The pictures shown are indicators of what crime is like #injamaica . The clear water represents most #Jamaicans while the polluted water represents some politicians, businesspeople, their henchmen, lackeys and yesmen. As seen in these pictures, the real source of corruption/pollution can be traced to a source and once found, the source can be cut off or stopped. So why all the talk, backed by little action? It seems it's easier to go after the henchmen/tickie-tickie/bottom feeders hoping they will call names, but this is very unlikely. Why? These henchmen know they will be provided with the best lawyers. If they even end up in prison, they'll be treated royally (with warders acting as smugglers, providing them with phones, drugs and other ammenities). They will then return to society with more 'contacts'/links, receive a heroes welcome, jobs and contracts. The fight against crime is best fought from a top-down perspective. Rely on proper investigative procedures. Foster better relationships with the 'average' man in the street. 'Listen' and pick sense from nonsense. Take action against what may be considered minor infractions. Level the playing field as far as treating infractions. Don't just let justice appear to be done, let there be real justice. Follow the money trail. Look at the real beneficiaries of crime. Start looking at and listening to some of the 'big-men'. #LiveWell #NEPA #EPA #nuhduttyupjamaica #Jamaica .
Jamaica now: Prison authorities are tight-lipped after an inmate is killed at the Horizon Remand Centre… Edna Manley student, who was allegedly sexually harassed by a lecturer, is to appear before a parliamentary committee… Urban parishes overtake rural divisions in murder tally… A second helper obtained a contract from the Caribbean Maritime University… Why hoteliers want Airbnb customers to be taxed. #GLNRToday #JamaicaNow
#JamaicansBeLike "liad an tief walk hand in hand". This #Jamaican saying simple means that someone who steals will often lie. One lie that we are told is that to get ahead, we must get a good education and find a good job. This may be only one way. Another is to work as a domestic helper for a corrupt politician. With all the revelations being made about the former Minister of Education and Information, it leaves #Jamaicans to wonder if the #information released during his tenure was creditable. He is now out, so there is little disgrace in him once being a criminal, but what of those still in #parliament with similar and worst practises? Do they look ashamed? Or do they still smile for the cameras? These are some of the same legislators that make it hard for people with police/criminal records to obtain meaningful employment or travel. To have once been a criminal is no disgrace, to remain a criminal is the disgrace. #MalcolmX Life in #Jamaica #thoughtprovoking #JamaicaNow

#HappyFathersDay I'm still living with the fact that Superintendent Merrick Watson and a team of police illegally removed my then 14 year old son from my custody on the 26/01/2017. After several visits and letters to the Child Protection and Family Services Agency(cpfsaja),through the office of the Public Defender, personnel at the cpfsa said they would schedule a reintegration meeting for my son and I. I found and find this very strange, as no reason for his more than 2 years removal and absence from my guidance, protection and constant provision as been given or offered. What would stop the police from just coming back and removing him from my custody again? Efforts to get answers as to under what authority Merrick Watson removed my child have proven futile. I've addresssed the Ministry of National Security, the Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner in charge of the Inspectorate of Constabulary, but they are silent on the matter. Is their disinterest in the quality of family life one reason for the high levels of crime in Jamaica? I guess Superintendent Watson, if he is a father, will be spending time with his child(ren), while he has separated me from my son. Our #faith is sometimes tested in diverse manners. #JamaicaNow #Jamaicans #StandUpForHumanRights Have a great day. @testedandproven876 You can also visit @testedandproven74 #DwaynePMWhite #WellnessMatters #Overcomer #Instagram

#JamaicaNow Happening at the #SpanishTown #hospital and other #healthcare facilities/ #healthcentre . #justtomakeyousmile What would happen if one of these rats urinate on the face of a #newborn ? Would the baby die and parents be told that the child died from birth defects or complications at birth? Or would the child be contract a disease and require regular checkups and medication for the rest of their life? The Ministry and Public Health officials say they are working on the situation. I pray the cat seen in this #funnyvideo is not a part of their solution. #WellnessMatters #LiveWell

#JamaicaNow Was #EdwardSeaga still helping #Jamaicans by highlighting the fact that with all his contributions to building the nation of #Jamaica , #healthcare , our #hospitals and #healthcentres were/are a rat infested mess? It was said he was travelling at the time of his most recent episode of illness before his death, that is why he was hospitalized in America. Had anyone ever seen him getting treatment or being treated at KPH, Spanish Town Hospital or UHWI, anytime before? The fact is our hospitals are so lacking that none of our politicians seek any medical attention there. Did you see the article of news on Telivision Jamaica (Tvj) Prime Time News on Thursday 6/6/2019, where rats were seen 'playing' on wards at the #SpanishTown Hospital? This is not the only 'health and wellness' facility were this is happening. Do you think people running from rats is the latest in Dr Tufton's attempt to get Jamaicans more engaged in the #JamaicaMoves campaign? Will Jamaicans be subjected to more health issues than the ones they visited hospitals with when the rats bite them, urinate or leave feaces in patients delicious hospital food? Are the billions of dollars being spent to build police and fire stations, (some of which are also overrun by rats), markets, roads and houses just being wasted? With under equipped, poorly staffed, rat infested hospitals and health centres, how many healthy Jamaicans will be left to enjoy '#prosperity '? Have a healthy, hospital free day. #LiveWell Follow @testedandproven876 for more. #DwaynePMWhite #WellnessConsultant #WellnessMatters #Instagram
