When I stopped breaking promises to myself I started seeing and feeling results! 🙌🏻 I spent too many years being a skeptic of at home workouts, figuring those people must be doing way more than a 20-30 minute program.
What I found was when I actually FOLLOWED the program and the simple nutrition plan that comes with each program, I got incredible results....and I got to eat SO MUCH MORE FOOD! 🥗🥑🥚🌯 Muscle needs FOOD TO GROW & I’m loving the mental & physical results I’m getting from my 100 workout program! How does this resonate in your life?
For me, it's with my fitness journey. I've started and stopped so many times that I struggled with sharing my journey AGAIN because, what if I fail? But, WHAT IF I FLY?! .
What if, along the way, I inspire someone else to start their own journey, to take their health into their own hands to be able to play with their kids, not be winded walking up stairs, be able to hold a plank for a full minute, run their first marathon, finally get off the diabetes medication they've taken their whole life and live a long, active life? .
What then? Well, then it would be worth it! .
What if, THIS time, I don't give up? I could FINALLY get to see how amazing I can feel, how incredibly healthy and happy I can be in my own skin and how many people I could inspire to do the same. .
Yes...then it would be worth it...so this is WHY I share my journey...and why I WILL continue.

I promised myself I would run 5 miles today.
So here we are.
I tried to talk myself out of this a million times over, and I had a laundry list of excuses why I couldn’t do it.
They were all bull and I knew it.
Why is it we are always so quick to break a promise to ourselves?
Had I promised a friend I would be here to run there would be no question of canceling.
We are always willing to keep our promises to others but more than willing to break the ones we make to ourselves.
Just my Sunday morning thoughts.
Keep the promises you make to yourself.
Don’t keep quiet about your goals. Speak them loudly and follow through.
Now, I run. I’m dreading it but I know I feel so much better once it’s done.

THREE different podcasts I’ve listened to recently (God almost always speaks to me in threes) shared the same nugget. 💥Our confidence and success is built on us keeping promises to OURSELVES!💥 Think about it. Every time we break a promise to ourself it erodes our belief in ourself. So then, at some point we decide it’s just not worth setting new goals. “Meh, I’ve tried that before and it didn’t work.” Really? Did IT not work or did I actually just not keep the promise to make it work?
One big mistake I make when I try to tackle this idea is setting unrealistic goals for myself. Like going from a couch potato to committing to a half marathon. That might work for some, but others of us have broken so many promises to ourselves that we need to start really small. Maybe it’s committing to how much water I will drink or a small goal in my business and sticking with those for a period of time until they are habit. We need to build a strong foundation by keeping promises to ourselves and before we know it, we can build huge dreams and goals on top of that strong foundation!

I may struggle a bit while I’m doing it, but I feel so accomplished after I finish and so proud of myself for staying the course rather than giving up!
Josh interrupted the first workout(the entire 20 minutes), and I think I did a pretty good job of answering him while simultaneously ignoring him!🤣
My dad stopped over during the second workout! (I did actually pause to talk to my dad tho!😊)
