Took King Arthur and Black Panther of Oakland Niki out for a hike today! Arthur has been out with us before, he's the original #adventurecat
of the family, but Niki does surprisingly REALLY well as a hiking cat! Not only did he hike with us for 3 miles, he did it OFF LEASH! It was incredible having him seemly understand everything we say. During the hike there will be little insect or small mouse rustling in the bushes and Niki would get super excited and wanting to catch it. But if we tell him to leave it he usually does. Is that normal for a cat? I feel like I have a dog hahaha. After the hike I try to look up information in regards to cat pack like behaviors. But it seem like other than lions, cat family species usually are solitary. So how do you explain Niki? He just seemed to have a strong desire to be near us. ♥️♥️♥️ My little black panther. Arthur definitely can be trained to walk with us but he seems to just wonder off by himself with little desire to stay close. That to me is normal, at least for cats. Anyone got an idea about Niki?
Oh also if we walk too fast he either runs to catch up or cry for us to slow down. So cute.
