✨ I don’t know about you, but a lot of the time, I am my OWN obstacle. It can be easy to blame others for the challenges that you may be going through. In fact, it’s a hell of a lot easier to blame anything and everything but yourself. But the truth is, YOU are in your own way. YOU determine how you react to difficult situations. YOU can walk away from anything that doesn’t serve you. YOU get to decide who and what you spend your energy on. YOU get to choose the direction of your own life. This has been my greatest lesson 🙏🏻 Get out of your own way because you are capable of amazing things. Trust me.

I am back in this beautiful yoga sanctuary.🧘🏼♀️ It has been about 3 weeks since I have last been here. A place I attempt to be at least 2x a week, ideally 3x.
I not only felt it in my body, but so much more in my soul.
Breath it, breath out.
Yoga feeds my soul. It connects me to my body, my breath, my heart. It connects me to something greater then myself. It grounds me, opens me, expands me.
I’ve realized I need to prioritize what fills me up no matter how busy life gets. How many of you are familiar with life getting in the way of you doing what fills you up? With being able to take time for self-care and the things that you love?
It’s so easy to do. To put everyone and everything before your own needs. But, it is a choice you are making (I am making). Today, I am recommitting and making a promise to myself, and to you, that I will get my butt to yoga at least 2x per week, preferably 3, no matter what. I am committing to prioritize my own self-care.❤️

Letting go can feel absolutely terrifying. Gulp.
Letting go of what no longer serves you:
Beliefs, people, thoughts, behaviors, patterns, jobs, lifestyles...
There’s this limbo that exists between your old life and your new one.
Between who you’ve been and who you’re meant to be.
Between how you’ve reacted and how you’re going to choose to respond.
Between default mode, auto pilot, victim mentality and purpose, passion, and presence.
Between panic and anxiety. Between anxiety and calm. Between calm and peaceful. Between peaceful and JOY✨
The transition feels too big and too scary.
You don’t feel ready.
You can’t see more than one step in front of you.
But that’s your step!! That’s your invitation. That’s the beginning of the transformation.
A transformation is really just showing up for all the small transitions. One at a time.
That white space (limbo space) you are leaping into is your magic.
It’s your portal to your unconscious.
But you have to leap to find it.
There’s no straddling both.
There’s no going back and there’s know unknowing what you now know.
There’s no movement in holding on and letting go.
You jump. And you find your wings on the way down.
Alas, the the shift from anxiety to joy has begun ✨

Mental clarity...too often elusive in a world with so many choices with so much input put from so many sources. Information abounds around every life topic we might imagine. “Experts,” celebrities, influencers, friends, family, peers, all have an opinion in what we should do, be, think, feel, have, and be. And much of it is very convincing, seemingly even backed by research. It’s overwhelming at times. It clouds our own judgement, shakes our confidence in our own discernment and decision making abilities. Getting still can help clear your mind to allow what is “real for you” to reveal itself. Meditation helps you get to this place of authentic inner knowing, builds your confidence, and allows you to thoughtfully respond to that which is of value. Ready to meet You? ⠀
