I had a blast scripting and directing three TV commercials featuring John Kerber, the founder and president of Dominion Custom Homes. John is a talented custom home builder and the visionary behind the Proffit Ridge community off Polo Grounds Road in Albemarle County!
Keep your eyes open for a vertically-integrated advertising campaign featuring Dominion Custom Homes and Proffit Ridge across network TV, cable TV, radio, direct mail, live events, social media, digital media and mobile platforms!

Our very favorite part of wedding planning so far... 😋🎂 As you can tell, #3
was our favorite: Vanilla cake with MANGO 🥭 frosting! I love any fruity dessert, and this one tastes so unique. Anthony said it’ll be a great cake with beer! 😂 OH, and we were able to make it entirely vegan with oat milk! 🌱 We both just got a little more excited for September 14th. 🥰 #BecomingTheBalajs
Have you ever wanted to see how Pocahontas' tribe lived? Jamestown Settlement's re-created Powhatan village is based on archaeological findings found near the site, and costumed interpreters show how the tribe grew and prepared food, processed animal hides and made tools and pottery. #swipeleft #FindYourFunWMBG
I seriously had the hardest time choosing which images to use for these sneak peeks 🤩 How freaking adorable is @lizzyherterich
family & her parents (who were gifted this session for their 40th Wedding Anniversary 🥰)!!
Lately, I’ve been going nonstop during the day and am completely exhausted by 8pm. So, I am currently hiding in our living room, looking at pictures from last weekend, and letting @mallent777
take his turn at singing and dancing to the Trolls new anthem. 😂 Is it vacation time yet?! #endlessaida #ashbymaekid
We often get questions like “What can I plant to attract pollinators?” There are many great resources available that showcase native flowering plants that are beneficial to pollinators. One of our best local sources is the guide Piedmont Native Plants: A Guide for Landscapes and Gardens.
This guide can be downloaded for free at www.plantvirginianatives.org
A hard copy can also be purchased for $10 at PEC's Warrenton Office (while supplies last) or at one of the following locations: the Monticello gift shop, Ivy Nursery, and the Wintergreen Nature Foundation, as well as the office of the Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District in Charlottesville (call the district office to make sure someone is there to help you - (434) 975-0224 x101).
Thanks to PEC's habitat & stewardship specialist, Celia Vuocolo, for helping produce this guide :-).
