Mommy how long do we have to wait for the baby to come? The question they ask me every day or maybe I should say ten times a day? I think I lost the count 😅🤷🏻♀.
So we've just reached the end of the June/July Daisy Parent 6 week term and I've had to say goodbye to 4 lovely couples. I received THIS amazing feedback and needed to share with you! The details are in the comments 💗
So if you are looking to prepare for Birth AND Baby come and join Daisy Parent for our Sept/Oct term (or Nov/Dec)

Newborn sleep tip #3
today is all about swaddling - swaddling your baby helps them to feel secure and safe, they’ve just left the warm coziness of mummy’s tummy! Make sure you swaddle with a thin cotton sheet and that the swaddle is below the top of the shoulders for safety. Swaddling also helps to stop babies waking themselves up when they startle themselves involuntarily with the Moro reflex, this usually stops by around 3 months so swaddling can also be stopped gradually from that point, you can then by swaddling under the arms if needed as a gradual change and then swap to a baby sleeping bag. A lot of parents say their baby doesn’t like being swaddled - in my experience 99% of newborn babies sleep better swaddled - it’s all about getting the timing and technique right! Try to swaddle and settle your baby when they are calm and not over tired - BEFORE they start getting fussy, the swaddle needs to be tight around their arms so they don’t get their arms out easily but not too tight around their chest or hips - practice makes perfect! #newbaby #newparents #parentstobe #newmummy #newdaddy
