Whew! I hated about 80% of this run 💁🏽‍♀️ Not until I sat down did I feel great. That “hell yeah, I did it” feeling. Every excuse NOT to run was on the table, too hot, my headphones are broken, not enough time, I’ll go later...I fought the idea of the run, and the run itself the whole way, but I knew I needed it! You are your own personal trainer, first and foremost and sometimes you gotta call yourself on your own BS. Excuses will be there all day. 🎙 Sound on! 🎙 . 🔥The starting position of the snatch and how it can affect your lift!🔥 . Trying to help my man @bfowl87 and the rest of y’all out! . Starting out there are two major flaws: 1. The bar starts too far from the shins. This will compound with the later effects of number 2. 2. His shoulders start behind the bar which leads to a greater horizontal shin angle than optimal . If he were to deadlift from this position, he would end up hitting his knees. To compensate he raises his butt in the air. This leads to ➡️ . The bar then becomes too far out in front on the initial pull. First, this makes the weight heavier as the length of the moment arm has now increased from the axis of rotation (it just means the bar is heavier than if it were closer to his body). Secondly, it leads to ➡️ . His hips meeting the bar, rather than the bar sweeping back into his hip. Once the bar passes your knees, if it’s close to the body, you should redirect its path into your hip pocket to keep a straight bar path. Since his hips came to the bar, this lead to ➡️ . The bar swinging out rather than going straight up. It’s more efficient to manipulate your body around the bar, than to manipulate the bar around your body (that bar can get heavy). . In the end Brandon makes the lift, but because it is “light” relative to his potential. If he were to do this near his true 1RM, then the result would probably be him jumping forward to catch it and/or him missing the lift in front. . Glad to help give you some pointers Brandon! . Woche 9 hat endlich ein Ende gefunden. Es zerrt. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Das Hybrid-Training findet langsam aber sicher sein Ende. Noch drei Wochen Kraft-Kondition-Workouts und ich kann mich einer neuen Herausforderung stellen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Allerdings verlangen die letzten Monate ihren Tribut. Die Trainingsfrequenz in Kombination mit den Herausforderungen der AppleWatch grenzt schon an Wahnsinn. Noch hält der Körper durch, jedoch werden die Pausenzeiten länger und der Regenerationsbedarf immer höher. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Bei dem aktuellen Formcheck (selbstverständlich auf Pump 😅) steigt die Motivation aber wieder.
