What a beautiful day to take a book break outside! I was never much of a reader growing up, I actually despised it, especially Summer reading. I was the one who would get the cliff notes. But now it is a staple in my life. I also never realized how important personal development really is. Because when I was starting my health and fitness journey and starting a business I had no clue what to do. I didnโ€™t think I had what it takes to succeed. But I learned is we are all teachable, we all have goals that we can achieve. I can be successful and a mom and build a business and take time for me. It does take take hard work and discipline and sacrifices but in the end it is worth it. Who else is reading the new Rachel Hollis book? Also, feel free to share your favorites with me. On this Wednesday, I am doing some reflection on the program I finished Sunday that was 21 days long. I literally am cringing with every part of my being at sharing this photo with you but I feel like it will ultimately help someone so I am sharing!!! ๐Ÿ™ˆ Guys, I worked HARD for these results! Not just working out๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ, but following a nutrition plan๐Ÿฅ—. I meal planned and prepped (and you can do it too)!! Oh, and another thing, the scale didn't even move! But I lost 3.5 inches! ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ But the most important thing is how much better I FEEL ๐Ÿ˜ Over those 3 weeks, I also ate a pizza ๐Ÿ•, had a bowl of ice cream๐Ÿจ, and ate a bunch of chips at a kids birthday party๐ŸŽˆ, but I didn't eat like that DAILY!! Switching it up! I usually always post about fitness and nutrition and what you put in your body but it is also so important to know what your are putting on your body too. My friend Linda introduced me to this awesome make-up line that is all natural goodness for your skin. I started with the concealer and lipstick and I cannot rave enough about these products. A lot of alcohol and carbs Sunday led to 2 lbs of inflammation that I thankfully lost yesterday. Ended the day with 120 ounces of water and great food choices. Back to work today after 2 work days off which is an eternity at my job. Getting my mind right with a little exercise and a replay of Sundayโ€™s Easter Service at West Side. I even turned down a glass of wine last night!!!! Not because I couldnโ€™t have it but because I chose not to๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป.
