Perfect Peppery Coleslaw (Whole30)⠀ Because great ribs deserve great sides. ✌🏻⠀ ⠀ Tonight I made the Instant Pot ribs from @tasteslovely. They were the best ribs I’ve ever cooked. Definitely go check out her recipe!! ⠀ ⠀ I needed an equally delicious side dish. I love coleslaw for a summer side, and I think I’ve finally perfected my recipe!⠀ ⠀ Coleslaw should be tangy and slightly spicy, in my opinion. This hits the mark. ⠀ ⠀ Tell me - what’s your favorite summer side dish? ⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Perfect Peppery Coleslaw⠀ ⠀ 1/2 pound shredded coleslaw mix⠀ 1/2 Tablespoon salt⠀ 1/3 cup mayo⠀ Juice of one lemon⠀ 2 Tbs cider vinegar⠀ 2 tsp coarse black pepper⠀ 1 1/2 tsp mustard powder⠀ ⠀ Put your cabbage mix into a colander and sprinkle liberally with salt. Set that aside for a minute. ⠀ ⠀ Mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl until smooth. ⠀ ⠀ Blot your cabbage dry with paper towels, squeezing out excess moisture. ⠀ ⠀ Mix the cabbage with the dressing. Let this hang out in the fridge for 30 minutes or so for the flavors to really mingle. ⠀ ⠀ Enjoy! ⠀ ⠀ -⠀ ⠀ Check out my stories for a step-by-step!

Looking for a simple delicious salad dressing? Look no further than my creamy champagne basil dressing. 1 cup extra light olive oil 1/4 c champagne vinegar 1/2 tsp pink sea salt 2 cloves garlic 1 Tbls maple syrup 1/4 c basil leaves 1 egg 1. Place all ingredients except egg into cup and blend with an immersion blender for 15-20 sec 2. Once blended add egg and blends for an additional 30 sec 3. It’s that time again!! Starting another round of Whole30 to kick my keto “sugar” dragon cravings (too many zevia colas and dark chocolate!). Got all these goodies for under $50 at Kroger. On this week’s menu: a pork sausage egg bake 🥚, spaghetti squash with meat sauce🍝 , taco salad 🥗, and some chicken strips 🍗 for good measure. Not picture is 3 lbs of ground beef from Sams and cans of unsweetened spaghetti sauce from Trader Joe’s. Hot dogs, fruit, and RX bars are for “snacks” or quick meals. My biggest tip for anyone starting a whole30 is to ALWAYS over prepare with compliant food for the first week. You’ll be surprised at how hangry you’ll be adjusting, and it never hurts to have some easily portable and yummy snacks on hand to keep you from straying to the office candy bowl! Anyone else decide a dum dum suddenly looks really appetizing around 2:00 in the afternoon?!

To make this dish: . 1. I coat a piece of salmon liberally with A.A. borsari seasoning, squeeze half a lemon, and air fried for 18 minutes at 380. . 2.While the salmon was going, I cut a soft boiled egg (I do multiple at a time to use throughout the week... just boil for for about 6.5 minutes, ice bath, and store in fridge). . 3.Grabbed a serving bowl and filled the bottom with a big serving of power greens, and some French beans I stir fried with hemp hearts. . 4.Put the salmon and egg over the veggies and served with sliced cucumber, some avocado, and not pictured, a tahini lemon dressing. . 5.Devoured with a smile. .
