Naz Meknat (@stylebynaz
), is a Los Angeles and Orange County based fashion stylist who has been working in the fashion industry for over twelve years.
Naz holds a degree in Fashion from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Her accomplishments as a Fashion Stylist, Personal Shopper and Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist make her one of the most knowledgeable personal stylists in the industry.
Naz has worked with well-known clothing companies, such as Guess!, and designers and industry leaders like Stacy London of TLC's ‘What Not to Wear’, and celebrities like Sterling K. Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, and Nyambi Nyambi.
Naz continues to contribute to editorial and promotional photo-shoots, ad campaigns and music videos for celebrities and non-celebrities alike.
Her work can be seen in a variety of publications (covers of the Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair), talk shows, red carpet events and award shows.
In May of 2014 Naz was featured in People Magazine for her natural beauty and style.
Naz was born in May of 1974 in Tehran, Iran, and remained there until 1997. She was the last member of her family to leave Iran. Her journey to the USA was fraught with difficultly and is the subject of a new book and a film that’s in the making - see @7000milestofreedom

She is the only one in her family that chose a creative path and has a deep passion for film and fashion.
In addition to her business, Naz is a member of several non-profit organizations including ‘Women Helping Women’, ‘Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition’ and ‘Out of Closet’ where she donates all unwanted clothing items from her clients.
