Creamy Chicken Salad 3 c. chopped rotisserie chicken (skinless) 1/2 c. chopped green apple 1/2 c. seedless grapes, cut in half 1/3 c. sliced almonds 2 green onions, sliced 2 TBSP chopped fresh tarragon 1/4 Honey Mustard Salad Dressing (recipe below) 8 c. shredded romaine Honey Mustard Dressing: 1/2 c. 2% plain greek yogurt 3 TBSP dijon mustard 3 TBSP raw honey 3 TBSP rice vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil Combine yogurt, mustard, honey and vinegar, mix well. Slowly add oil, whisking constantly until blended. Chicken Salad Directions: Combine chicken, apple, grapes, almonds, green onions, tarragon and honey mustard in a large bowl, mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve 1 1/4 cup over 2 cups of romaine. Makes 4 servings. • #cleaneats #mondaymealprep #fixate

I am not a “never miss a Monday” kind of person, but I do love the feeling of starting the week off strong! 5 morning nap miles while watching Jane the Virgin— never in a million years did I expect to be so into that silly show 😆 Rhett’s stomach bug went away as quick as it came, so I’m just thankful to have my usual, rowdy, whiny, defiant toddler back today. Life at home with these two is nonstop and so exhausting, but it’s also the best! All the greatest things in my life are equally exhausting and rewarding [babies, marriage, running] 💕 I wouldn’t trade them away for anything!
Okay found a new favorite toast. Recipe below ⬇️ Posted in my story the seed trio I use. Nursing mamas or soon to be nursing moms. I am going to be posting videos soon for a highlight section on what has worked for me and us. There will be several and it will of course be posted there. I’ve had several new added that are new moms and nursing moms from another group I’m in. Also touching on weight loss while nursing. Is it okay? How much to eat? Etc... this was requested by several. If anyone every has anything they want me to “give my professional/personal opinion on” just let me know. I don’t know everything but I do have a good amount of nutrition education under my belt. My masters program focused quite a bit on community nutrition, maternal and infant nutrition, but nothing really allows you to learn and teach others besides experiencing it first hand. I am a new stay at home mom as of October of 2018 I left my job in the dental field to become a full time mom and health and fitness mentor.... I started my fitness mentor journey February 2017 when I was pregnant with Kaylie not knowing that one day it would give me the opportunity to leave my job and stay at home full time 🙌🏻🙌🏻 DREAM COME TRUE. . I love animals and I’m fact I was in pony club starting at the age of 12 and competed in the pentathlon. Which is swimming, running, target shooting, fencing and horse jumping. Took it all the way to the Olympic training center. . I am very shy and unless I know you and I have a glass of wine I will probably let you do all the talking. . Workouts complete!! Lately my workouts have been on point!!.... my nutrition... not so much....new goal this week is to get my meals planned out for 2 weeks... why 2 weeks? I like to alternate and then repeat! I keep it super simple!! Only way I stay on track!!! Sometimes going all in on my nutrition is what I need to stay focused!! And on track!! Sometimes I need to focus on cutting one thing out of my diet and slowly eliminating a nasty habit at a time! But right now I think just going all in is what is needed!! The nutrition plan that I follow also is great for nursing!! I just do some minor adjustments to keep my supply up! Need help and ideas? I would be glad to help!!!!!

#medalmonday ☀️ The @lululemonto #tor10k was one of the most fun races I’ve ever ran! The course took you through downtown Toronto and out along the waterfront. The cheering stations were amazing and the post race snacks were on point. I will for sure be running this one again next year! How’s the little red nose 🙊🥰 It was very chilly in Perth this morning, but it finally wasn’t raining so we were so excited to get out and about! I was also able to go out for a run during Lydies nap which I haven’t been able to do for a few weeks (I am not dedicated enough to run in the rain - if it starts raining during the run that’s fine, but I can’t START running in the rain 🙈) It felt so good! I reeeeally took my time, because I wanted to see if I could still do 10km without stopping, and I managed it 😃 27 minutes slower than my pre-preg PB, but I am just happy that my body can do it! Drove down to Ithaca to run the Gorges Ithaca Half Marathon with @changeofpacecoaching on her birthday weekend. 🎉🏃🏻‍♀️🍷 — Everything about this day was perfect: the weather, the race course, the people, the views, and running with my favorite marathoner. Except... I felt terrible. After about 10k I didn’t want to run anymore. I had a few cathartic moments, shed a few tears, and kept run/walking forward with Becca’s encouragement. — I think I’m done doing half marathons for a little bit. Just this year I’ve done 3. Back in December I took my daughters to see Santa at the mall and had pictures taken with him - I was also in the pictures, and they were terrifying 😱. I could not believe what I had become - I was huge. I used my pregnancies as an excuse to eat what I wanted and be lazy — and then afterwards I used the excuse that losing baby weight doesn’t just happen over night. Well at that point it was 9 months after my last baby and I was 184lbs🤢. I thought - oh I’m tall, I carry the weight evenly. 🙅‍♀️Wrong! I was gross. I scheduled a evaluation at the gym and my body fat % was a staggering wake up call. Now 6 months later I’ve lost 46lbs and at 138lbs I’m lower than what I was before having my babies, but... It’s. Not. Enough. I want more!!!
