🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 and this dinner... 💯 seared salmon, crispy brussel sprouts, AND pizza ✨🤤 dEATS: salmon - s+p, @traderjoes
ebtb seasoning, coconut aminos, and paprika - seared 5 mins each side, remove skin and cook the bottom for another minute.... brussel sprouts - 2 caps AVC, s+p, drizzle olive oil - cook on medium heat with a cover for ~20 mins... and then the pizza! Cooked according to instructions except I did 1 large pizza instead of 2 small, cooked 5 mins with out toppings, then 18 mins (a little longer than the box says) once I added @pomiusa

The most common thing I hear from women...
I just want to tone up and I DON’T want to be bulky. After a few questions, 99% of the time what they end up meaning is they want to lose body fat so their muscle tone shows through.
When I ask what their nutrition looks like after their workouts, I get crickets. Usually, they aren’t doing anything for after their workout because they think their body will burn extra fat by not eating after a workout and they are afraid of protein because they think they will look like a guy if they consume too much protein!
I used to be the same way with those thoughts and actions, however, I’m here to report that is incorrect!
2 things happen during a workout:
1.) your body depletes it’s energy stores (glycogen)
2.) you tear down your muscles by pushing them with resistance training
Therefore, 2 things need to happen post workout in order for your body to recover properly:
1.) you need to consume a fast digesting carbohydrate in order to replenish glycogen stores in the muscles which will reduce soreness
2.) you need to consume a fast digesting protein in order to start the muscle building and fat burning process
When someone skips post workout nutrition (like I used to) the body will continue to break down muscle for energy (catabolic) and will store body fat because your body thinks it is starving!
For post workout, I always stick to my post workout stack of Phormula-1 Protein and Ignition (carb)! They were formulated to work together to be the most efficient and effective duo to produce results quicker! It also helps they taste AMAZING!

Currently loving how much lighter it is earlier in the morning now and how much later the sun is setting! I’m a massive sunrise/sunset fan, I love how you never know what colours you’re going to get 🌅 Whilst running this morning the sunrise was such a nice pinky colour 👌🏼 No surprises I had oats post run 😂
