When ground beef is 1.26 per pound we gotta clean them out. Who would have thought 170 pounds of ground beef could fit in the back of a corvette? We might be in trouble because we have a case of trachea and a case of hearts coming in Wednesday. The freezers are almost full 😒

Check out our insta story, and I will answer all your questions about Oakley’s diet and whatever else!!
Sorry Squidward! 😓
Not only can you feed squid oil, but you can also feed wild caught squid whole! Squid is amazing, and because of the sheer volume of them in the ocean, you don’t have to feel terrible about sustainability! It’s low fat and high protein. It’s got all the great benefits that adding small raw fish would have. I did have to chop the squid into small pieces for Oakley to eat it, he was kind of confused haha. Also to remember, squid is great but in moderation! I wouldn’t add this every week to Oakley’s bowls. The texture and smell is very different, so picky pups might have an issue with this! But variety is key!
What’s in the bowl?
🐃 Buffalo Tripe
🐑 Lamb Leg
🦃 Turkey Liver
🐦 Quail Eggs
🦑 Wild Caught Squid
🥬 Green Juju
🍯 Raw Florida Honey
🥥 Coconut Flakes
🍇 Goji Berries

Yesterday’s prep took FOREVER! Two weeks for Gemma (raw) and a month for Chip (cooked). As I’m not exactly a proficient cook for humans, it was even more difficult for Chip LOL. Juggling microwaving sweet potatoes; soaking and boiling sticky rice; roasting the pork loin and salmon in the oven but the organs and ground beef in the crock pot; cutting and steaming the vegetables; finely cutting (as my food processor has gone out) 23 grams of Brazil nuts...still, watching how happy they are to eat and seeing Chip improve every day is worth all the time and stress 💛💛💛
