Work in progress of a recent commissioned portrait. Still quite a bit to do on it!
Right now though, I have to do some housework, the horsework (I need to go have a general tidy up down the field!), so I probably won’t be at work until 10 or 11am..:but that’s okay, it’s the weekend!
How are you spending your Saturday?
The combination of heavy weight, hectic volume, and real good squeezes is making each back session a fkn joy atm. The waist continues to narrow day by day so the taper is looking better and better, couple more weeks and I can start to rebuild diet again.
Here’s the first two steps of my drop set as my last T-bar work set.
The complete session:
Lat warm up
3 x Single arm t bar row
6 x t bar row 3 work sets w/ last set triple drop set
4 x giant set
pull up (6) [4 second eccentric]//
bent over db row(12)//
rope row (25)
4 x cable pull over
4 x DB RDL w/ shrug

here is a bit of advice from the man Harvey Specter with a health and fitness twist. When you have a goal it is 100% your choice if you do anything that takes you a step further away from it. You can blame the fact it is somebodies birthday meal out or that the weather is so good you have to have a drink or that it's weekend and you have had such a tough week. You can even blame the gym you train in, the instructor of the class or anybody else around you but the truth is... You are the reason whether you will succeed or not, you always have a choice in these scenarios. I believe in balance but I also believe that in a lot of diet scenarios, certainly when you are far from the goal that you earn the right to live the lifestyle you want to live... of course it's your choice either way... but if you continue to do what won't positively help you achieve your goal then you can't expect results can you? Don't make decisions based on the environment you are in, make decisions that will positively help your goal. Remember this is short term.
