Work life balance - something that we all want but it’s actually a result of hard work and planning! Just saying that ‘oh my job sucks, it doesn’t allow me to have work life balance’ is not an excuse for not achieving it. You HAVE to make the change!
When I had my first full time job, I felt like I didn’t have work life balance AT ALL. And so I made the decision to switch to another corporate job so I can have a bit more time to do whatever side gig I want (that’s where my heart is) and also to help out my husband in real estate. Investing that time back in myself and in real estate allowed my husband and I to eventually leave our full time corporate life and pursue our passion full time!
By no means are we swimming in money! Oh no, not at all! Proper planning and investing in real estate gave us our life back, stability and time.
Let’s be honest, life is short. As we get older we start hearing about this person getting sick, this person passed away suddenly, etc. We don’t want to be that person. All we wanted was the freedom to travel more, send our parents on vacation (cuz they deserve it most), eat healthy (cuz we all know a yummy salad is more $$$ than a burger) and have the time to prioritize exercise.
