Yesterday was such a movie! Came back with this beauty, as well as two shiny new PB’s (including a possible sub 20 5k). Unfortunately the GPS was off so I can’t quite claim sub 20 yet, but... I can definitely take away the confidence I gained when I passed that 5km marker and looked down at my watch 😏. My official time came in at 41:39 which is a new 10km PB. If you’ve voted on my story thank you very very much 🙏 but I’ve decided to decline both the PB’s on the watch. We’ll have another go soon, let’s see if we can do it officially next time 👊🏾

When the week’s temperatures are set to hit 37 degrees and the physio tells you no running for the week. .
Can’t honestly say I’m gutted 🙊😂
More acupuncture, more massage and three different exercises to work on. I’ll finally be putting those resistance bands I bought two years ago to some use!
“I run because long after my footprints fade away, maybe I will have inspired a few to reject the easy path, hit the trails, put one foot in front of the other, and come to the same conclusion I did: I run because it always takes me where I want to go.” - Dean Karnazes
Can somebody remind me how these things work please? 🤔😂
It's been 9 weeks since I started the @dragonsbackrace
and I am finally in a position where I can pull my #runningshoes
on and go out for a #run
, all be it a short one. While in reality it hasn't been long, it feels like an eternity. Still not sure whether the #injury
will hold up and allow me to restart my #runningadventures
, but there is only one way to find 🤞🏻
Running in to the week ahead like.... 🏃♀️💨
CONSISTENT PROGRESS LEADS TO BIG IMPROVEMENT .... Often we look for huge improvement, when we should look for consistency over time. Being better each day, is a great way of monitoring your progress. Don’t look for miracles over night, be patient and stay focussed on those long term goals 👍🏼🏃♀️🏃♂️
