I’m not the only one who has a notebook full of ideas, dreams, and plans…right? I don’t go anywhere without mine, because at any given moment I might think of a new blog post or tips to share with you all, and I have to write it down immediately! That’s just the life of a creative, I guess!

And so I ran with fire blazing in my chest. She fueled all my wildest dreams. A dragon ball of crystalline energy. Pouring citrine diamonds through my sight.

When you follow the call of your soul, no matter what it is, DOUBT WILL SHOW UP.
Will I make it? Should I have decided this? Should decide that instead? I should stay, I should go, I should do more research. Is this the right choice? What will happen next? How will I know? etc etc etc.
Etc etc etcccccccccccccccccc. 😵
Have you thought about quitting your current job in order to pursue another position? another dream? entrepreneurship? your passions?
Well, speaking from experience, it's a bumpy ride! 😉
I could let my brain go on and on and on about the "what ifs" and the "should'ves" and "could'ves" - and I have.
What *actual* good does it do?🤔
🖤It reminds me that I'm human, which is nice to know.
🖤It lets off some steam and releases those feelings out into the wild -> which allows for these feelings to TRANSFORM.
What does it transform into?
🍧More awareness + control over these feelings of being incapable
🍧It uncovers what I really care about so that I can feel/do those things more
🍧Remembering that actually I'm sooo capable it's not even funny
SO here's what you can do when you're feeling incapable of your dreams, when you're feeling incapable of making the "RIGHT" next step, when you feel like you just can't do the thing:
1️⃣Give yourself strictly ONE MINUTE to vent these feelings OUT LOUD to yourself or to someone you feel supported by. Be extra human. Feel the feelings.
2️⃣Give yourself 3 deep breaths to let those feelings and words land.
3️⃣Remind yourself WHY you're here right now - that you GET to make this decision/do this thing and see it as the blessing that it is.
4️⃣Make a list of 3 of the smallest things that will help you in the moment. Maybe 3 things that will move you forward or 3 things that will allow you to feel at ease.
