By Barry Holbrook: Sergiy Derevyanchenko and former IBF/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin have agreed to financial terms for a fight on October 5th for the vacant IBF title on DAZN. There’s still some smaller details that need to be ironed out. The bout will be taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York. DAZN chief John Skipper played a big part in the negotiations. The winner of the GGG-Derevyanchenko fight will be the new International Boxing Federation middleweight champion. Golovkin and Derevyanchenko need the IBF title to help increase their chances of getting a unification match against WBA/WBC champion Saul Canelo Alvarez, who wants to unify the division. Derevyanchenko is in the position of crushing Golovkin’s chances of getting a third fight with Canelo. It’s still possible that DAZN will want Canelo and Golovkin to face each other even if GGG loses on October 5, but it’ll be under less than desirable conditions. DEREVANCHENKO NEEDS TO PROVE HE BELONGS AMONG THE ELITE The 33-year-old Derevyanchenko came up short last October in a 12 round decision loss to Daniel Jacobs for the vacant IBF title. Now less than a year later, Derevyanchenko gets another shot at fighting for the same title. This time it’s Golovkin, and it’s not going to get any easier for Sergiy. Jacobs had too much speed, power and talent for Derevyanchenko. The 5’10 1/2″ Golovkin doesn’t possess the same hand-speed or size that Jacobs brought to the table against the the 5’9″ Derevyanchenko. But GGG is taller than Sergiy, and will have a three inch reach advantage.(Continued in Comments) #ggg #gggboxing #gggpromotions #derevyanchenko #middleweight #wba #wbo #wbc #ibf #ibo #accurateboxing #dazn #skysports #matchroomboxing #pbconfox #espn #goldenboypromotions #boxing
Adrien Broner is going to retire again, but not until he accomplishes three things on his wish list — all of which seem very improbable. According to Broner, he will pursue a world title in his fifth different weight class by moving up to the junior middleweight division limit of 154 pounds. In six bouts contested at welterweight, Broner has accumulated a record of 2-3-1 with 0 knockouts. All of his wins, though, have been controversial decisions against Adrian Granados and Paulie Malignaggi. Moreover, Broner has lost each time he has stepped up to face a top opponent: Mikey Garcia, WBC welterweight titlist Shawn Porter, former junior welterweight titleholder Marcos Maidana, and most recently, WBA Super champ Manny Pacquiao. Broner has two more wishes and these are even a stretch for Broner’s standards — two 155-pound catch-weight fights against middleweights Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. Alvarez (52-1-2, 35 KO’s, 29, of Mexico, the WBA “Super” 160-pound world titleholder, is potentially seeking a light heavyweight title fight against 175-pound titlist Sergey Kovalev. Furthermore, he could also face WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade in the fall. If Canelo is going to fight Broner, the fight will happen on his terms. With a little over two weeks until he faces Vasyl Lomachenko in London, Luke Campbell believes this is his year. Widely regarded as a pound for pound number star, Lomachenko returns to the UK to compete for the first time since the London Olympics in 2012. Tickets have already sold out as the boxing public rush to see one of boxing’s superstars. It sometimes seems to be forgotten that Campbell himself won gold at the same 2012 Olympics. He’s a stylish boxer and also the naturally bigger man, fighting on home turf and looking to shock the world. Campbell came up just short in his only world title fight to date when he lost a split decision to Jorge Linares. Linares also shared the ring with Lomachenko, in fact, he had Lomachenko on the canvas. The Ukrainian rose to stop the tough Venezuelan. This win gave Lomachenko the accolade of winning three weight divisions quicker than any other male fighter. For his part, Campbell wants to fight the best. “The best fighting the best, this is going to make one hell of a fight,” Campbell said. “I am in this sport to be the best. I’m in this sport to become a world champion. “This is what I train and work so hard for. To become a world champion and fulfill my potential.” BEST Campbell knows he is taking on one of the best in the world. “He is ranked number one pound-for-pound on the planet,” Campbell explained. “So for me to fight a guy like that only encourages me more to be the best that I can be. It’s exactly the level that I want to be at. “I’m well aware of how good he is and what he is capable of doing but I’m also well aware of what I can do and what I’m going to do.” Despite being confident in his own ability, Campbell is aware this could be the toughest test of his career. #vasyllomachenko #lukecampbell #dazn #matchroomboxing #skysports #wbc #wbo #wba #ibf #ibo #boxing #lightweightchampion #accurateboxing
Another good day 🏆 2 wins out of 3 again today as we had 1 vip tip win and 1 free tip win. I didn't share the mix sports bet as I wasn't highly confident on it. I'd rather send less bets and win more rather then sending out loads and loosing more. Consistency is the key 🔑 Congrats people📉☑️🏆💰 #teamgogetters #gogetters #gogetterstips #tipster #protipster #freetips #freetip #sports #sportstips #sportsbetting #espn #skysports #footballtipster #football #footballbetting
#psgfans #espndeportes #foxdeportes #foxsports #skysports #univisiondeportes #beinsports #beinsportsusa #futbo #futebol #futbolmania #futboll #futbol7 #futbol #futbolchileno #futbolargentino #futbolcolombian #futbolista #futbol5 #futbolpasion #futboler #futbolfemenino #futsal #futball #futbolistas #futboll #futbolsala #futboltodo

DERECK CHISORA is hoping to fight former heavyweight champion Joseph Parker before the end of the year with talks between the boxers already having begun, according to the Brit's manager David Haye. Dereck Chisora could be facing Parker as early as October, and both fighters are keen to make the bout happen, said David Haye. The fight was a possibility for Chisora if he beat Artur Spilzka earlier this month - a fight that only lasted two rounds. Now, Chisora - who is also known as ‘War’ these days - and Haye have been speaking to Parker’s camp ahead of a huge end of the year clash. Parker is a personal fan of Chisora, and the New Zealander believes the fight will be a great spectacle for boxing fans, Haye added. “I was very, very impressed with Dereck [against Spilzka],” Haye exclusively told Express Sport. “Dereck knew what was on the line. “We’ve had this Joseph Parker fight at the end of the year as a real big carrot for us to really get him into tremendous condition, and he’s really taking that on board. “I spoke to Joseph Parker personally, when I was in Las Vegas for the [Tyson] Fury fight against Tom Schwarz, and he was really up for the fight. He likes Dereck Chisora, he’s a fan of Dereck Chisora, and he believes that Chisora’s style will gel nicely with his. “[It could happen] before the end of the year. We’re looking at as soon as October [or] November.” Parker has been looking for a big fight, and he believes that Chisora will present a real test, added former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Haye. Both fighters are confident of winning the match by knockout. All that’s left is to officially confirm a date, which should be relatively straight forward, Haye added. “Joseph Parker has worked with Eddie Hearn, as do I and Dereck. So politically, it’s a very easy fight to make," Haye said. “It’s all about getting the date right, getting everything neat and tidy, and it’s a fight that all the fans are really going to get their teeth into.” #josephparker #chisoraparker #dereckchisora #wbc #wba #wbo #ibf #ibo #accurateboxing #dazn #matchroomboxing #skysports #heavyweights #heavyweightboxing

Tyson Fury has hit back at Anthony Joshua after his rival ridiculed him for fighting Otto Wallin. The Gypsy King takes on little-known Swedish fighter Wallin in Las Vegas in September in another tune-up fight ahead of his rematch with Deontay Wilder next year, but Joshua wasn’t impressed with the opponent selection. Joshua said he would never fight ‘lower-tier heavyweights’. After hearing the comments, Fury responded by questioning the caliber of Andy Ruiz Jr – AJ’s next opponent. ‘What about Andy Ruiz then? Was he a top tier heavyweight when he fought him? He got knocked out by him,’ Fury told Behind the Gloves. ‘No he wasn’t, that’s the answer to that question. Nobody knew who Andy Ruiz was. He was a two-week replacement opponent. ‘People only become somebody by getting an opportunity. This time last year Andy Ruiz was nobody, absolutely f****** nobody. ‘Today he’s heavyweight champion of the world. If he wasn’t given the opportunity on two weeks notice then nobody would know his name. ‘He contradicts himself quite a lot actually. AJ, you must think before you speak, you little p****.’ Joshua will rematch Ruiz Jr in December and has gone on the offensive since announcing the rematch would take place in Saudi Arabia. ‘Fury’s gonna fight Otto Wallin, no-one talks about that,’ Joshua said. ‘I fought Wallin as an amateur. These guys are cream of the crop, they shouldn’t be fighting them type of people…I can’t fight Wallin, don’t think I can ever fight lower-tier heavyweights.’ Asked why he thought Joshua was hitting out at his rivals more frequently, Fury replied: ‘He got his ass handed to him by Andy Ruiz, so now he thinks he needs to talk a bit more.’ While Joshua and Fury’s rivalry continues outside of the ring, fans can look forward to Wilder-Fury II in February, providing both fighters come through their next contests. ——————————————————————————— #tysonfuryworldchampion #tysonfury #thegypsyking #anthonyjoshua #heavyweightboxing #wbc #wba #wbo #ibf #ibo #accurateboxing #espn #foxonpbc #toprankboxing #dazn #skysports #matchroomboxing
