Four years ago I stood at this overlook and took in the natural beauty of Zion National Park. I was intrigued by this weather-beaten tree sitting atop a rock outcrop way above the valley floor and thought about the many storms it must have been through in its exposed environment. During a fast-moving trip, I relished the chance to slow down and rest with a view like this.
Looking forward to some good ol fashioned stick collecting, swimming, and quality nature time with my home team this weekend. What adventures do you have planned? Happy long weekend everybody!
