Mental Health Awareness Month •
If I could magically make mental and emotionally challenged people instantly better, I would. Mental illness does not have to be a lifetime struggle. Through education 📚and a support system in place, it can be manageable for most people.
There once was a local boy in Orange County 🍊, California, named Mike Bayer, who graduated at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana. Struggling with depression, anxiety and questioning his self-identity, Mike used drugs to feel good, and became addicted to narcotics by the age of 17. Unhappy, he went through many treatment centers and then at 22 years old, he became sober.
16 years later, (Celebrity) Life Coach Mike Bayer is the founder and CEO of CAST Centers, customized treatment for mental health & addiction, and The New York Times best selling author of Best Self: Be You, Only Better.
Referring to his best self and anti-self challenge in his book, Mike exclaimed, “Everybody has an anti-self” it’s knowing it and tapping into your best self and going how would my best self handle this?” Seventeen years sober this month, Mike has helped many people achieve their personal development goals. •
