In love with this view and my new friend. The Dolomites did not disappoint. #doglover
I had to make another trip back here because it was so cloudy in the morning that the Dolomites were completely covered. It was so worth coming back.

Pho, its what's for breakfast. Shout out to the sweetheart at Sapa Dao Homestay for treating me like family and makin' fresh noods when I was sick. It was easy to be grateful even when feeling crappy, waking up to this view outside my window. I am grateful that I soaked up every minute of it. I slowly sipped my coffee, meditated, journaled, had a self-shit photo shoot, and layed out with the window open. Also enjoyed a wicked thunderstorm out here.
time is all you’ve got; spend it wisely 💸
Maragua trek, Jalq'a trek, path of the weavers... Choose the name you want, this is clearly my favorite hike of the country!
I decided to do the 3 days trek on my own even if it was super warmly recommended to go with a guide. Okay, I can understand why... Don't be affraid to cross high rivers, to be confused with the path (because there is no path most of the time), to go on private fields, to be suddenly on the top of a mountain, to find your way to go down from this mountain... This is adventure, maybe that's why I loved it so much! You're rewarded on all the way. Views are amazing, especially the beginning on a Inca road, and landscapes changed every hour (that's nice when you're lost and have to hike 10 hours on a day). And who say that the Jalq'a community were not open to people? I can't count inhabitants who were smiling seeing me on this way, farmers who help me or ladies and children who just wanted to walk with me and chat for a while. Super nice.
Oh, and a special thanks to @carnet2route
to make me want post pictures again! See you on the road mate!

📍Medina, Rabat 🇲🇦 .

✨WHAT WHERE HOW WHEN WHY✨
✨WHAT: If you can save, strategize, and prioritize, you can go anywhere the world takes you and that js what I’ve been doing since I got back from Germany. I got the travel bug and I’m not stopping now. ✨WHERE: Melbourne, AUSTRALIA is my next destination! I recently sign my apartment lease so I will be spending the next 9 MONTHS there on the Work and Holiday Visa and I could not be more excited!
✨HOW: I worked my a** off this summer saving as much as I possibly could working 12 hours a day 6 days a week! It was not easy and boy did I want to take more time off but I knew what my end goal was and I kept pushing. Also, I will be working while I am there so I will still have a consistent income.
✨WHEN: I leave in 3 weeks 🛫
✨WHY: Simply because I love traveling. I love the challenge of a new environment, new culture, and I was ready for something different. I hope to see some countries in Southeast Asia while I’m in Australia as well.
sidebar: Even though I’m traveling to this country by MYSELF, I do have two wonderful Australian friends I had met in Germany
I will 100% miss my friends and family and I hope they’ll come visit me but you can’t let people or relationships hold you back from what you want to do and where you want to be
We made it back to the Adirondack Mountains after a beautiful week spent on Great Diamond Island (an island off the coast of Portland, Maine). We’ll be spending the next couple weeks here in Lake Placid until we make our voyage to the west coast. Hope you’re having a great start to your week! #travelandbenice
