We doctors love our patients and our main aim in life is to do the best for our patients. We go above and beyond to give them the best health care possible under the best of our abilities. In my world, it’s either taking them out of pain or bring that smile back on their faces. There are times we are so indulged in that process that we completely forgot about ourselves.
Most importantly, we do not have any regrets in doing all that because we love it so much. Last thing we all want to do is stop doing that for anything in the world. However, it is important to slow down a little bit and listen to your body and take care of ourselves.
Self care, self love, self healing, self motivation, self discipline, self recognition, self belief are very essential tools. They all play a was a essential role maintains both your physical and mental health. The more we care about these qualities the better our abilities become and you would see that small gap will make you a better clinical.

We aren't shy with our clients when something they are doing is inadvertantly inhibiting their results.
Sometimes people don't realize a daily habit is contributing to their pain, and sometimes they flat out disregard our advice hoping to get the best of both worlds.
When you come to see us, its our goal to get you back to full function as soon as possible without removing all of your favorite activities, but we might have to make modifications, and on occasion recommend a break to allow you to recover.
Don't worry though, its our job to make you return ready before you leave us, so even if you do take a break to let your rehab plan work, you won't be stuck there forever.
Balance! Challenging times with this little addition in the front however super important to still engage the muscles and find some. I've kept up with squats, and plie allday erryday to keep glutes working because well ya know birth is coming and strength is necessary.
2 more weeks to go teaching then I settle in to nest and hang out with our wee mate til they arrive and prepare for that fourth trimester.
Time flies for sure and really looking forward to being a student in all classes and studios in the final weeks. It's been the mentally challenging part to know I'm finishing up so soon when I feel like I have just as much energy as pre pregnancy, however as I've been supported and reminded to take the time, enjoy the quiet we have now and to continue quality time as a couple.
Sounds good to me!
Sometimes, we hang on to something or someone for far longer than we should because we fear what will happen if we let go.
Sometimes, the universe intervenes to make things move forward when we can’t or won’t.
Sometimes, painful events occur that just seem to make no sense at all.
But given enough time and faith, we can usually understand how we end up better off, and can reflect on what we learned.
Many years ago I was in a relationship that was impacting negatively on my life. There were many dramas surrounding that person who was constantly hard work, but I believed I could fix it all. One day, that person disappeared. Literally. To this day I have no idea what happened or why.
At the time I was heart broken. But a couple of years down the track I could see the blessing in the change of direction in my life.
Don’t be afraid of change. Regardless of how difficult, love yourself enough to allow yourself to surrender.
Your greater life is at work ❤️
