Which is more nutritious, loose leaf or tea bag? 💪
You would think loose leaf is considered to have more nutrients, as it's higher quality tea, right?
However, tea bag tea, is ground and hence may have higher extraction of nutrients during steeping. The humble tea bag, being poor quality tea may also contain far more stem, meaning it has more of the amino acid L- thiamine (great for reducing stress levels and anxiety). So it seems the modest bag may wins out in the nutrition department! Fancy that! 😃
Important to remember whichever tea you choose to drink (loose leaf or tea bag), the longer you brew it, the more nutrients it will contain.
