The Dragon’s tail - when I spotted this rock I instantly had the image of a Dragon’s tail sticking out of a fiery red rock into the cold water of the ocean in my mind. The colors really do the image aside from these crazy rock sediments. Nature surely has its wonders. I thought it might be fitting to upload this image today as it marks the last day of Game of thrones. The last episode is out tonight and I am curious to see how the story concludes. To me this last season has had its ups and downs. Visually breathtaking, plot wise swinging from great to numbing to stupid and somehow with a feeling I would feel more comfortable with how the storyline unfolds if it didn’t seem so rushed. I mean this series has always been one where the viewer’s expectations have been crushed. But in season 8 it feels like rushed endings to many characters and storylines. Almost like the series could have used another few episodes to thoroughly conclude. Well, anyways here is an image I like about a rock inside waves in beautiful colors.

Tuscany has been so delightful. We have sampled the Chianti Classico and Chianti Reserva just about everywhere with a little Montepulciano thrown in for good measure (my personal favourite, it’s soft and fruity like me 😜). Also love the sweeter dessert wine, Vinsanto, which tastes halfway between a port and a botrytis to me! Now we are enroute to Florence to hop a train to Naples and then a car to Sorrento!
Moments after this photo was taken, a massive blanket of cloud blew right over us and blocked our view of the mountain and valley. Both @harrisoncandlin
and I were very lucky to witness and capture this scene.

Catching a ferry from Xiamen to Gulangyu Island 🌴. Interesting facts about Gulangyu:
1. Cars and motor bikes are not allowed (you can use electric golf carts for a spin around the island);
2. The ordinary ferry from central Xiamen is now for local residents only and you can buy a ticket only by showing a local ID ❗️Tourists are sent to the international ferry terminal out of the city center (you need to take a bus or taxi to get there) where there are tourist ferries with tickets for 35 and 50 yuan. Those ferries sell out - when we finally reached the terminal the nearest free slot was for departure in 1,5 hr. 3. MUST present a passport or other form of ID to purchase the ticket 🎫 4. Sunlight Rock park is a MUST for a visit!
There is a saying that if you haven’t climbed up to Sunlight Rock, you haven’t really been to Xiamen 💯 #xiamen #gulangyu #island #china
