Ok so I kinda wanted to give some insight on how I do things bc its wild.
Prime example: the original image for this ex-attempt at a #drawthisinyourstyle
was a male (race, idk.) As soon as I hit record, I drew the nose, the eyes, and the rest of the face and it became a girl with vitiligo rocking natural hair (1, what a queen, 2, will fix the hair, this was just a quick 20 minute sketch).
I always start with the nose, because it's so central to the face, and I work outwards. Some people like to work inwards, but the nose sets the standard for the rest of my proportions. I'll try to show my skin process tomorrow.
